The part that got me was when he said he was used to getting hit and stuff. Said by a kid as young as him shows such innocence, but the maturity in his decision had me crying even more. Honestly, we need more people like him. Ugh I read this, literally, three times.

I only say that because he is telling Yeon Duk that he’ll do anything, that he’ll change himself, just so Yeon Duk won’t leave him. I just feel like he’s afraid of losing Yeon Duk again, and is changing himself and trying to commit to new ideals of himself so Yeon Duk won’t push him away. Codependency thrives on the reliance of ones partner, and Skyler, to me, is showing he can’t “live”, per say, without Yeon Duk. Buuuuutttttt, then again I could be reading this totally wrong hahahaha
