It’s not that this version won’t be good, it’s just that there are so many stories out there now where there is a vampire student and a human student together. I was looking forward to the first version. It was supposedly horror with shounen ai, and I thought the plot was more interesting. There are some abduction mangas and manwhas out there, but I thought the authors take with the first version of Bottomless Swamp had an unique twist. I’m sure this will still be good, but I kind of wish they stuck with the first plot; and if it was the art style they wanted to improve, then just rewrite the first few chapters.

To be a proofreader or a cleaner, don’t you need a bachelors degree? Unless in this case it’s not needed?
Scanlation isn't a profession but a hobby, it's basically gathering of fellow readers who want to share their love for manga with those who are unable to read raw languages. We don't earn any profit either so these positions don't require any certification. We do require a certain level of skill though, quality is important so tests do have to be taken to join some groups.
what no haha. It's more like a hobby. People of those translation groups are spending much time and effort for us non-japanese/koreans to read mangas online for free. They aren't getting money, that's why I really appreciate their work.
You are probably talking about professional translators. Yes, they will need a certain degree. But most things published here on mangago are translated by people who are doing it in their freetime as a hobby. :')
OHHH!!! THANKS GUYS! I’m interested in helping, I just wasn’t sure if I needed to be a professional. Thanks for clearing things up!!
