I feel perfectly good and connected with the God and also the story. I feel like i WOULDN'T have finished it if i were to start reading the whole thing.

They are grown ass adults and at the age of 18 u are basically going into the world, also, we know they aren't that stupid. Trauma can do damages, but stupidity isn't one of them.
This is FOR THE PLOT ONLY, they have perfectly loving family (if not the emperor, bc they don't believe in him, ok) - the brothers. They already know WHY they couldn't go and fetch them to the castle. They know that brothers love them, and that the 2nd one is basically a zombie, bc of how much he wants them to be alive! He also went and found them even when he knew that this could KILL his father. And thEY STILL BELIEVE some damned brat who they see for the second time in their lifes?

There is no excuse or reasoning for abuse, it is a scar that will be stuck with adults and children. You may not have experienced it but many people have, it’s a comic but it relates to a lot of people in the world ^^
But please, do not explain everything with trauma. This right there is a plot pusher we see in almost all mangas like that. Misunderstandings are a big "MUST HAVE". this has really little do with their trauma and more with the drama.
Little spoiler: Someone said that they are up to 50 chapter, and twins still are trusting in complete strangers and not people who showered them with love.
There are a few comics which came out of "misunderstaning arc" with pride and really good mentality but this isn't one of those comics.
Trauma is the reason they even act like that! How could I not talk about it when it’s the root of the problem? You literally don’t understand them, no you and many others don’t understand them or how they feel. You and others think because of their mental age they’re supposed to be genius’ when they weren’t even giving the care they needed once they were rebirthed. And I’m bringing this up constantly because it’s the main problem.
The problem is, it isn't the root of the problem. This is literally bad writing. U can write trauma, and u can write characters that are distrusting that can't and won't trust others. U can do that, but it's hard! Representations of this kind of thing is important, but it's important to do it the right way! But this isn't the right way. They are behaving like,,, someone who doesn't think, trusting strangers ISN'T the thing u do AFTER being abused be your mother! trusting some randoms ISN'T THIS THING EITHER. why not trust the maid?? WHY TRUST IN SOME SHADY MAN??
If it would be written like u are saying - they would be distrusting towards EVERYONE, but no - they don't trust only people WHO ARE GOOD! IN THE MEANING "DON'T WANT TO HURT THEM". AND THIS is a plot pusher. they believe only bad guys, because of what? WHY EXACLY ARE THEY SO STUBBORN ON BELIEVING THEM? BECAUSE OF THE TRAUMA? NO. NO.
They aren't supposed to be geniuses, but why make adult characters and then don't use it in any way other than "yes, we understood what is going on from the start". They can be scared, they were abused. But this isn't portrayed GOOD, and the WAY IT SHOULD BE.
This shows that people who were hurt in the past won't trust aNYONE NO METTER WHAT PEOPLE DO FOR THEM AND HOW MUCH THEY LOVE THEM - and would choose some strangers who are "rummored" to be really close to "the empress", but they don't even know if this is the whole truth! it's really hurtful!
And what about families of abused people? The families that got to them late, because of various reasons? If you want to go into that theme so much? You were abused, AND U HAVE THE RIGHT to be distrusting, but u don't have the right to hurt other people who showered u with love. U HAVE TO TRY TO OVERCOME THE TRAUMA. THEY ARE ADULTS AND THEY THINK - why don't they think about what happened to this point?! don't compare them to children because it fits your explanations.
It's bad writing. Not every character that was abused has to be amazingly written deep characters, because no matter what happened to them, if author can't write it properly then this has literally no point.
You are fighting over FICTIONAL CHARACTERS trauma, i'm fighting over BAD WRITTEN CHARACTERS ARC. Let's stop. I understand what's your point, but i can't agree if i take into account the whole story and not only "they were abused" parts.
You seem to be really young and not understand that my main point is - this is just for the drama. This isn't for characters or for them to overcome something. Sometimes comics just do that and it is disappointing but not everything can be good. This is my right, and the right of other readers to not like this and say what we think. Some themes can be shown as toxic even if they weren't meant to be shown this way.
