I almost dropped this but continued because I liked the cute animals and plot isn't bad. His personality grated me tho but reading further it's actually perfect... I understand why he's like that now. Anyway I hope to see more animals please
I tried this again but damn the miscommunication and lack of talking is so painful to get through paired with the way it progresses is so jumpy it's just confusing. Just ended up skimming skipping. The plot twist just glues it all at some point but it's just not worth it? Too bad though because the ending arc their romance was honestly nice and cute...
I like romance but MC and FL is just not it. No chemistry just one sided crush from FL I guess. Wouldve been so much more palatable if it's with his buddy then we'd have yearning and angst perfectly placed since at least those two actually had good chemistry. Also the dynamic between MC FL is just off putting. Maybe if they got together at the end then yeah but while the competition is ongoing?? I guess they had to write the romance in since it's tied to the main plot? But they could've turned FL into just a very upright person? I scrolled at all their romance scenes and I didn't miss out on anything.
I FUCKING hated the romance, its so out of nowhere, i lit skipped the chapters where it had nothing to do with the competition
I know it's like 90% smut (honestly love that) but I also like the MC and the whole "idiot/dense mc wins unknowingly" or whatever you call it
I just came from watching A Man on the Inside with majority old people cast and dang this series just opened up my chest once more. Grandparent stories always hits
I like their toxic yearning dynamic + plus so much spice. Please I need more with this type of characters
