I literally hate this manga. I tried reading it again after a while bc I couldn't remember why I dropped it, and now I do. It's as if the author originally wanted to write a cliche brainless 2000s shoujo and accidentally made the heroine a guy instead but kept all the heroine's personality traits. The whole manga is so obviously rigged and annoying. The MC is no 'dumdum' he's a cardboard cutout of the dense heroine. It's as if he wasn't a fully functioning adult before this ugh.

Y'all gotta stop blaming the uke because you literally sound like shut ins who have never seen the real world before or thought like a proper adult would. Who wouldn't be afraid after seeing someone beat a group of people half dead? I'd say the MC's reaction is rather realistic compared to the other ukes who make out with the semes right after as if nothing ever happened. Plus, what he said in the end, it's something that a proper adult would say. The MC probably said it because he already CONTINUOUSLY told the ML beforehand to stop before he goes too far but he didn't listen and beat the guys far too severely. It's also a realistic reaction to something you grew up with getting destroyed because of an incident caused by someone outside your circle. Let me state some things that are probably going on in the MC's head.
1. He's still shaken up after almost getting gang raped Andrew witnessing ML literally beat the guys almost half dead with blood splashing all over. He's a sheltered rabbit with no ties to the mafia world and he's never seen something that intense.
2. The reason why his family got targeted in the first place was because they were letting someone from a rival gang (the ML) get so buddy buddy with them.
3. He likes the ML but knowing number 2 he probably has conflicting feelings towards the ML rn. He's probably grateful towards him and loves him, yet he probably also feels scared and slightly aggrieved and wary towards him because he's the main 'cause'/trigger for this incident in the first place.

I srsly can't stand y'all sometimes. I understand it's probably annoying to finally see an MC who doesn't just instantly cuddle up and wahwah cry to the semes while getting princess carried right after getting saved from the cliche ''Im about to get gang raped I yelled out your name in my head pls suddenly pop out from the corner and save me!" situation but think logically sometimes and touch some grass.

If people really think the leopards attacked them because of Asuka going in and out of the restaurant, did you even read the manga? They clearly said how the leopards were abusive and were chasing out SEVERAL businesses way before that. Ao's father got severely beaten up, his sisters could have been SEX TRAFFICKED. It doesn't matter if Asuka was involved or NOT. The leopards are rapists and human traffickers. While him being scared of Asuka in that moment was realistic, it doesn't mean his behavior towards Asuka later on was justified. He blamed EVERYTHING on Asuka. Let's guess how the Leopards were dealt with; BINGO! They were dealt with by.... Asuka apologizing to them...
On this instance, people ARE RIGHT on their assessment on Ao. He is a blank slate MC who only knows how to blame the person that saved him, PERIOD. No one is saying Ao needed to fuck Asuka then and there, people are just saying his assessment on the situation was just fucked up as hell and it's disingenuous to act like people having a problem with the MC are weird when there are several good reasons to dislike him. He only confessed his feelings when Asuka apologized to FREAKING SEX OFFENDERS.
Lastly, do people think most adults in real world would blame the person who saved them from getting raped? Like gurl, when you accuse other people of being shut-ins, first LOOK at yourself Ao is the most unrealistic MC I have seen in a while and people defending him and shitting on people who dislike him are the weird ass ones. Ao does not deserve Asuka.

I can't believe it's been more than a year since I started following this manhwa, it's been a wild ride for sure haha. It brought me laughter, worry, and so much more. Ik its not that deep but since it's the end let's be sentimental for a bit lol. Also, am I the only one who wants a sequel/extra about Luwellin? After he was defeated I became a bit interested in him because he started to seem more 'human'. It's definitely going to be intriguing to see how he adapts to the modern world.

I think the story is ruined for others because of the common bypassing of attempted r@pe, beat up dad, attempted trafficking. They resolved it with the antagonists not receiving enough consequences. Like if you think about it realistically:
Imagine a bf beats up his partner’s attempted r@pist. The partner then says he was wrong for fighting the r@pist. Then the bf goes to the r@pist and says “sorry I was wrong for hurting you.” Sounds pretty ridiculous. It mainly bothered me that ao didn’t at least thank asuka for saving him from almost getting SA.

Anyways people can go off if they want since at the end of the day, it’s a fictional story and not reality. People don’t always have the same reactions to things between real life and fiction.
Yep I understand this. Yet, the reason why I still decided to comment was because I felt extremely baffled by the amount of people blaming the uke for being afraid and hesitant towards the ML when they themselves saw what the seme did to those men, infront of the already traumatized uke. I feel like the 'never thanked' part was unintentional. It's not as if the uke wasn't thankful towards the ML, he just never verbally said it, along with all the things that happened, there's not enough mental nor emotional space for him to say so. I've already listed the reasons why I think the uke's feelings are valid above. Yes, the story was not the best and I do not have the slightest feeling of connection to it, I just wanted to explain this part because it seems as if nobody in here looks deeper than the surface.
I think it makes sense for the Uke to be scared in the moment- but after he calmed down is when I’d most blame him tbh. How the Uke handled things was where I’d give him some fault. He didn’t do much to actively seek out the ML first or go out of his way to say “I was scared that you went too far, but I know you did it to protect me.” It more like he said, “I was scared and I don’t want you to save me like that.” It’s mainly been the ML one-sidedly initiating things from the start. It wasn’t as if the Uke was super traumatized judging by the way he reacted to the ML when they met again, being all smiley and kissing him right away.
