I get why people are against MC getting with Hatano but hating Hatano's presence is kindaaaa ehhh I mean he makes the manga more interesting for me (not that it's not,.he just adds more flavor to it), it's going to get repetitive eventually if we constantly just see MCs brother fluttering about with his love interests and seeing MC pass by random people every chapter. I get excited whenever I see him and the mind reader's presence, it gives me a sense of consistency and something to look forward to. Them being interested in MC, be it in a romantic sense or not, doesn't necessarily equal to romance. MC is actively trying to avoid and subvert them. Just like irl, just bc someone likes you doesn't mean you like them too or will instantly get into a relationship with them. Plus I think it's interesting that the MC is getting recognized for once.
I get that I’m just worried about the whole persistent thing. I really like that the MC is solo. Hoping Hatano finds someone else soon. Cause this will also get repetitive soon (already has for me) unless they either get together or he moves on.
Ngl if he does affect the MC eventually it would probably towards the end of the manga rather than in the middle, I don't think the author would get them together though maybe MC would just become more 'aware' of his change of feelings towards Hatano or something? As for the mind reader it'd be nice if he and the MC becomes friends bc MC is hyper aware of the world, meanwhile he's aware of other's thoughts meaning he'll be able to understand MC's actions in one way or another idk I just think it'd be interesting

it depends on who’s perspective the story is being told from. if it’s being told from the ml perspective, sometimes its about the male figuring out that he’s a masochist because of the girl he’s dating or it’s about the male being humiliated in some of the less than wholesome ones. when it’s from the female perspective, it goes like the story we’re reading or it’s the female teaching the male a “lesson” or refusing to give into conventional gender norms when it comes to sex. the story that we’re reading now is actually one of the wholesome ones tbh

Hit harder than it should have especially in this story. Og Leon will never fully understand and accept his mother's actions in their first life and the MC will never understand the of Leon's true feelings about everything (nor will anything she do now redeem what she did in the past in the eyes of og Leon). Acensio will never understand his father's decisions/actions, and the emperor will never understand his son's, or rather, anyone's feelings/emotionally fueled decisions because he's just someone who fails to comprehend and covey feelings properly. The first empress' son is still unable to comprehend why his father treats him as such and why that happened to him and his mother even though they were just 'trying' like everybody else (although they were I'm the wrong). Still, somewhere along the line, love in any way, shape or form was surely present, even if it was just for a moment. They might never understand each other but surely at some point, they cared about the other.
It's so sad that we were shown what 'could have been' in the royal family if only some things didn't happen.
