It just gets more and more heartbreaking

I want Hide and Yuki to have a sequel and to see more of Eiji and Shu (?) during that book

I wonder if he just goes and takes a hot shower after work every night just to try and clean away the information he gets pushed on him

The author note apologizing at the start should have warned me how bad and cliche the rest of the story was going to be.

I think I can see why it took quite a while to update. The group wanted to not leave it on cliffhangers with the force, the fight and so forth. This was much easier on the reader, being able to see the conflict and the beginning of how they deal with it instead of being left hanging on some of the harder places to stomach.

but I really don't like the new couples or the new story lines. It just went to kind of a overly rapey omegaverse style. The art and storyline doesn't seem as strong as it used to be, and the characters not as developed.

Both couples really made me want to cheer for them, even when they were being idiots. They weren't living happily ever after, but they were working on their relationships, and themselves.
