I'm so glad this is got picked up! And I know the this is all gonna go horribly wrong but gosh I love stalker stories.

well, on a scale of mildly messed up to majorly messed up (I'll try to add a warning for the ones with non-con, but it kinda shows up a lot when stalking is involved):
for bls:
Ore to Omae no Stalker Boushihou (guy saves a girl from a stalker only to become the stalk-ee (but kinda likes it), it's surprisingly cute and overall pretty tame.)
Ookami Gui (guy keeps "eating up" his friend's stalkers, only to one day make a bit of a mistake. Gets a bit steamy at the end but cuts off before anything happens because the mangaka was a COWARD)
Nise x Koi Boyfriend (chapter 5 is the main one with stalking. Fairly tame, but it does have a surprisingly consensual sex scene)
Ibitsu, Itoshiki, Himitsugoto (guy has a huge stalker-crush on a guy from work that ends up moving in next to him. Something's clearly up with said crush, but we may never find out because I think the freaking translator dropped it)
Similar Terms (The MC gets into a twisted relationship with a stalker, but it's soon revealed he has many secrets of his own.)
Stalker's Game (THIS ONE IS SO MESSED UP. SO. MESSED. UP. OH MY GOSH. it's a very... interesting read but if you want actual romance don't read this one. It's just not gonna end well)
Shousetsuka no Shitsukekata (this one's just. so messed up. oh my god every one in this is just so *messed up* I can't really do it justice. (...pretty hot tho) avoid it if you are not okay with non-con)
Ibitsu na Boku wo Douka Aishite (has a very hot scene that is very non-consensual and is unfortunately a one-shot)
AND NOW FOR THE ACTUAL STRAIGHT ONES:
Stalkers (it's weirdly sweet?? and like none of the stalkers actually end up with they're obsessions but it's cute in the strangest of ways)
Miniamaru Kareshi (guy seems very tame at first, but...)
Sakuraba-san wa Tomaranai! (this one's more funny then anything else, but it still has stalking in it)
340 Days (only has the stalking really show up close to the end of the first season)
those are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head, but some good actual lists to find more are :

Hope this helps, and that you like the mangas!

You know, this last bit was a huge change from the novel, but I'm honestly glad they decided to put it in. Not only does it make the Ruri look more heroic (because she did *try* to stop the war at the very least) but it also ads in some information that makes her more sympathetic. I mean, she was always sympathetic, but her complaints often boiled down to "this clingy girl keeps stealing everyone's attention" (which definitely isn't what happened but that'd probably be how what's-her-name would hear it). This actually showed some of the bullying that Ruri had to suffer through, all the while little miss center of attention ignored and denied everything while still claiming to be Ruri's best friend. It's definitely a good addition.

1. The Hero has had an actual reason to abandon her each time that has to do with the demon king (aka her staying in the small town means that the demon king can't find her as long as he doesn't return) or something similar (basically, it was for reasons other than falling for someone else)
2. The hero is just kinda a dick and is just working through every possible relationship for each life and is basically treating it like it's a dating sim. The flashbacks are because she met the demon king in her 1st or second life (since she only remembers 3-5) and fell for him. He just hasn't had the power to track her down until now.
3. The hero insisted that she come with him on his quest during his 1st or 2nd life (maybe she had magic during one of her first reincarnations?) and the demon king met her then and fell in love with her, and has been stalking her ever since (w/ something like theory 1 happening)
4. (aka my favorite but least likely one) Theory 2 came into effect, but instead of just waiting and accidentally running into the demon king somehow, she got so fed up that she actually just walked across the goddamn continent until she met the demon king and proposed on the spot since, hey, we've both been fucked over by the hero, haven't we? and now he's been trying to keep her from getting her heart broken but hasn't had the power to prevent it in the last 3 reincarnations.

Except theory 1 is exactly why I think the first heroes were dickheads. Their actions lead to precisely the situation that would NOT 'protect' her as they claimed they were doimg. They don't seem to have the intention to rub two brain cells together. Because the reason they would most likely leave her behind is because of something the DK said but they can't think of why he would say these things in the first place? That maybe there was a reason he did all these things where even a supposedly 'mere commoner' gets involved in the schemes? And that that would lead to trouble in the future?
It's just so refreshing to have a couple where neither of them are tsunderes or one keeps missing the others queues or they're both just incredibly awkward or *something*. These two are what soulmate aus should actually be. They just give off the vibe that they've both been friends for years despite only meeting like, what, 2-3 weeks ago? They're on the absolute same wavelength 99% of the time and while I'm sure part of that's because of the MC's battle training I'm pretty sure it's mostly just because their personalities just mesh well. It's also just nice that they're both allowed to be weirdos. Like most series have one being a complete lunatic and the other playing cloud coocoolander's minder but in this they are both of just the exact same mind and it is *fantastic*. there really should be more relationships like this.
