absolutely diabolical for this damn story to start out the way it did. here i am hating this fuckin guy because he assaulted him and then they get into lore and it was NEVER assault, and tHEY LIKE EACH OTHER.. now i'm on the season 2 aND I AM CRYING MY FUCKING EYES OUT
jaehee is one the greenest flags i've ever seen. i was SO WRONG. they are so cute. the smut scenes are so tasteful.. i guess I'll get my box of tissues ready now for when i finish it entirely

after rereading again, I got a lot to say this time around lol
jiwon gets a lot of flack. it's well deserved because he WAS an asshole. but he really isn’t the worst. he made it very clear to dg that their relationship was gonna be just fucking. he even asked dg like hey do you like me because we can’t continue if you do. and dg said no. and then of course the whole entering the room during streaming was super wrong on dg’s part. they both had their faults, tho jiwon was very mean about it. and while there was definitely a power imbalance as a fan fucking their idol, the sex was consensual.
originally I thought, the redemption arc was too fast. but dg and jiwon had already been separated for sometime, and jiwon knew he was in the wrong and remorseful. dg still had feelings as well. after jiwon helped sick dg, and then confessing to him in the café after apologizing, dg went in for the kiss tho jiwon initiated. it all played out well imo
overall I still really love this story and will probably reread. also, i don't think it's as cringe and secondhand embarrassment as the comments on sites make it out to be.. i'll be back again to read when jinx gets to be too much another time lol

I think I was more biased against Jiwon the first time I read the story, this time I could see and feel the flawed behaviours in both of them. They match their inexperience and past trauma they each had respectively. But their issues also weren't a HUGE mess up that they'd have to work through relentlessly to recover from, so I do find the redemption pacing apt. All in all I think it was better than I remembered.

I think I also put all this hate on Jiwon because he was so mean to DG, so at the time of reading my first ever BL, I wanted him to suffer. But the pacing was done well, and as you said, they matched their inexperience. Makes sense why this story is so popular. Totally enjoyed this reread too!!

the more i read these chapters over and over, the more it confirms that jaekyung's head is hollow inside. it whistles when he moves. he's a dingus and down horrendous. amazing. i love it and wanna see more

Me rereading the last few chapters like it’s my job. 6 days until march 2nd..
i went a month without reading and just broke down and read.. i can see why everyone is saying this is taking the same storyline as bj alex. jiwon and dg met up, they had sex the one time and then went their separate ways before the redemption arc.
I guess we'll have to see if that's the same case here with the next couple chapters.

I'm proud of dan for standing on business with jk and telling him no kissing, and absolutely refusing to return to seoul. but still, i feel so bad for him. he's gonna break when granny dies. maybe she can make a miraculous recovery and live for many more years lol

i waited a little while before reading, just to pace myself. but i read it finally.

i'm crying my eyes out. i'm turned on. they're so pretty. throwing up from the fluff. finally... finally, jooha and dooshik are happy together even with all the memories of the past. i was originally so upset when the main story ended the way it did, but the side stories served their purpose.
i hope to see seunghyun happy too. tbh i had hoped jae-il and seunghyun ended up together when I read about jae-il being engaged but that was not the case here... inking author-nim, i hope you set up someone great for our boy. he deserves it, his first love married someone else T_T

ohhhh my god. i had no idea when starting this that there would be so many emotions. definitely felt like some of the filler chapters we could've done without. but despite all that the overall story was just too cute.
i feel like speedran through the whole thing, and then the last chapter wedding special...written to the readers??? oh my god, sobbing and crying my eyes out.
i desperately hope for side stories for his brother and blondie. like does the little red hair guy finish school?? is the grandpa officially dead now? i guess it's enough to know the bad guys are dealt with, but maybe one day we can get side stories..
