This is probably the best resolution for a subject this complicated. Normally abusers can fuck right off, but in situations like this when both parties did love each other and never intended to let things spiral out of control the way they did, I think this is probably the only decent answer. It's hard to say what's the right way to approach someone you've hurt; whether you meant to or not, sometimes an apology isn't enough. Do u punish yourself for eternity, or do the two of u try to make a clean break and move on as best as possible?

I think this is cute, and I do love a good relationship role reversal story, but I wish they wouldn't stereotype the husband and wife so much just to emphasize that their roles are reversed (if I'm wording this correctly). It's not that I care if the husband likes cutesy things, but it seems like almost every relationship reversal manga does it where the husband is weak, effeminate, and cutesy while the wife is hard working, stoic, badass and a little cold.
It would be nice if both were badasses regardless of which one stays home because staying home doesn't mean you're the weaker spouse. I kinda wish more manga were like Gokushufudou: The Way of the House Husband. But I do think their relationship is cute
