It is more of stolkholm tho, cause the ml literally has the mc trapped? Like the ml has many things to hold against the mc to keep him weak and in his grasp. The stalking shit, the debt, his mother and brothers life, He fucking crippled someone infront of the mc and killed another lmao, and he is very violent and controlling with the mc. Yes, the author is shallow asf at most times. But the mc is truly trapped with the ml and has no other choice but to basically get used to that shit and hope the ml gets sick of him or he gets nicer.

I agree with you that mc is trapped but if we travel a little time ago, mc literally used to stalk the ml and it might seem like not 'crime' enough but it is a crime. And was apparently madly in love with the ml (enough to stalk him). Just imagine being totally piss poor and you get a crush on someone, you have lots of jobs because of your debt + stress due to family + debt collectors and you get free time for yourself, you decide to stalk your crush!!?? And mc seriously had a busy schedule it is clearly evident after all of it, instead of resting in his free time, he decides to stalk the ml. And happens to see that the ml is some sort of mafia CEO wannabe's grandson!? We still don't have any idea about ml's real job or identity. After seeing the grotesque scene of a man being kidnapped and killed, mc gets shocked and tries to call police, which is understandable. Then ml r*pes mc and asks him to keep silent about all this? I'm like wow, the r*pe made zero sense, even r*pists have their own reasons for committing this heinous crime and I get it that much of bl genre is about r*pe this r*pe that but there was no reason for that r*pe but ok moving forward mc acts in a strange way, even if he saw a person dying, even if he got r*ped, he decides to show up for his classes and for days acts like how ml is the one who took interest in him first. Because of you're actually interested in someone, enough to stalk them, usually your feelings just don't 'disappear'. It's just not possible hence I've called the character shallow. MC rn is acting like a grade school girl in love and each and every action of his seems like getting controlled by a third person, he acts like a puppet.
