This unlocked a memory LMAO. Makes me remember when I checked out this wat .Tp4d story where it had age play and I coudnt get it no matter how hard I tried. There was a side couple too with a matching little (still unsure of the name for it cause it’s been years), and the mc had play dates with their friend lol

I’m sickkkk. He’s blaming it all on the FL but he’s also part of the problem. Sure FL clearly has some personality issues and likely values her reputation as a counselor more than she should. But what ML did was literally emotional cheating and regular cheating. He was swayed and enjoyed being with the homewrecker. He went out one-on-one to several places (basically dates) with the whole “counseling” excuse without telling his wife. He got kissed by the homewrecker, didn’t tell his wife, etc.

He’s all like “woe is me!” I’m having doubts about that the FL is hiding, but HE contributed to cheating. And he’s fcking upset that she broke the rule to not read each other’s mind, but he gave her that insecurity to even get to that point. He also set that up that rule only recently BECAUSE he knew he’d be caught.

I saw a social media post about this and thought it’d be a nice read and assumed that the ML would actually be good and affectionate (like the title says) after she literally took care of him during his coma. But clearly he turned out to wake up and be a bigger piece of shit than I ever expected. He fr should’ve just stayed in that coma for good. Would’ve done everyone a favor.

Basically the first part with the girl with bangs, he played along to help his grandfather. Though he didn’t punish the girl enough after discovering her crime. At most he said a simple “sorry.” to the FL for this incident. Even the grandpa of the ML was way more apologetic and also scolded the ML for making FL suffer. That’s how that part ended. Then he constantly goes on about how he’s only being nice to her because he should and that it’s a contract marriage, that he’ll never have feelings for her. He get jealous, etc. He’s in denial of his own feelings despite others pointing it out. Even as he slept with FL and woke up and she told him that he admitted he loved her, he denied it yet again.

He later tells her they’ll get a divorce in 3 months and to move to a separate floor. Then he finds out she’s pregnant, takes it back right away and tells her he’ll officially marry her and that they can grow feelings afterwards. But then another chick who’s his “savior” is found and he immediately stands FL up, picking his savior up and letting her live in the house, taking care of her all night, scolding and getting mad at FL every time FL is framed by the two-faced savior. ITS LITERALLY A REPEAT OF THE FIRST RIVAL. But this time ML actually believes it and shows exactly how much of a dumbass he is. Even the person who made the food pointed out that the savior set her up, but ML is like “how could she possibly do that.” FL says she wants to separate and leaves the house. Only for her to be in danger again, ML saves her again, and he takes her back to his house where he yet AGAIN lets go of FL to take care of the savior. How FL hasn’t thought to kick ML in throat yet, astounds me.

I swear he must have a fetish for ppl who saved his ass. What’s sad about it is the fact that FL was told by her female friend that she should leave him, blatantly saying ML isn’t good and that he causes her pain and only takes care of the other girl. FL has a backbone for like 2 seconds max, and just falls into the cycle of going back to him over and over again. It’s also disappointing to see that FL was literally given a second chance at life but chooses to spend it so naively. It’s a shame cause the ML’s character design is good and I liked the art, but the writing of the FL and ML’s characters is hot garbage.

That blonde chick is another psycho bitch. She had those crazy eyes and also said she’d kill herself if he didn’t accept to her confession. ML got triggered all over again. Good thing FL was able to get to him and put that bitch in her place lmao.

Anyways personally no 2nd lead syndrome for me. I know what I signed up for and I like the ML. Too many ppl don’t like flawed MLs and that’s why they settle for every copy paste “perfect” ML with the same basic puppy that worships the FL personality.

It’s actually so crazy to me how many readers are actually as naive as the mc here (maybe even worse than mc). The amount of ppl who hate on mc but praise minwoo is insane. Luckily there’s a few actual smart beings here who recognize how bad minwoo is. It’s really sad that I have to break it down for ppl. I’m gonna point out all of minwoo’s flaws:

It’s concerning ppl don’t realize any red flags about minwoo. He IS obsessive and controlling. Just cause he’s his childhood friend and was traumatized doesn’t mean he has the right to control mc. Even mc’s sister went through the same thing that night and isn’t as obsessive or controlling as he is. She has actual good balance of being cautious but knows mc is an adult who should make his own choices.

There’s GOOD reason to think he’s obsessive, minwoo LITERALLY admitted it himself TWICE. He straight up said how he controls mc because he benefits from it, and how he is obsessed with him. In chapter 1, Mc points out that minwoo doesn’t even like it when he’s in a group chat with new people. He polices who he gets to be around. He forces mc to stop seeing ml and literally monitors him and stays at his house in order to keep him from leaving. He kisses mc in his sleep. He loses his shit and beats ml unconscious just because he saw mc and ml mutually making out. While also calmly takes mc away while he’s about to get gangbanged. He can keep his cool when there’s an actual concerning criminal act right in front of his face but can’t keep his cool when he’s jealous seeing a consenting act. Like cool you saved him, guess you’re redeemed and chose to act like an actual normal friend starting now. Minwoo’s character is literally the starter possessive borderline Yandere friend ML in other stories.

And I really hope I don’t see any minwoo dick riders come to his defense with the excuse that he’s better than ML. Quite frankly idgaf about the ML or the mc for that matter. It’s obvious ML isn’t a good guy either. I just like pointing out flaws in a character when most of the readers don’t seem to realize it. It’s like in order for most readers to get it through their head that a character isn’t 100% good, it has to be on some demonic level shit explained to them bluntly. (Although I do wanna point one thing out: I saw all minwoo and ML’s interactions and it’s surprising how chill ML is around minwoo. Even as he faced minwoo who beat him unconscious, he doesn’t even have any feeling of wanting to get back at him or lay a hand on him. He doesn’t like him but he’s not quick to jump to violence).

They’re still cute but I do miss the old artstyle this manga had in the first volume. The first volume was the most detailed. As the story progressed the art became more simplified and turned to a more chibi-style. They look skinnier in both body and face now too

I’m confused why ppl all of a sudden think that they’re some pushovers for drinking the drink. They’re on a mission, they gotta do what they have to do to not raise suspicion. They’re there for info on “money laundering and political ties.” Which was said in the papers in chapter 13. Obviously both have the ability to reject it, but to get info you gotta try to fit in. Them rejecting it would just make the group wonder why they’re even there in the first place. It’s like an undercover cop saying no when they purposely go to a sketchy place.

So basically they’re kinda like swingers/poly/open relationship? They swap partners, have 3p/4p. I’m just surprised so many ppl disliked it, cause the basic 3p where the FL is only focused on, can be found in literally any other smut story with this trope. She ends up with the tan dude, but they both mutually agreed to have a 3p with the light haired dude again, then let FL’s female friend join. FL and ML was also super chill with each other fucking other ppl. And it’s implied that the light haired dude gets with FL’s friend. It looks like THEY ALL suit each other and are chill to have fun lmao.

Anyways there’s two other stories, one if the “what if” she ended up with the light haired dude instead of the tan guy. And another is the story of FL’s brother and coworker. I will say, out of everyone FL’s brother and his coworker(now gf) are the hottest characters lol.

Usually I don’t point out art like this, but did anyone else notice her side profile is insanely skinny? Specifically her waist and arms lmao

I’m glad I didn’t keep up with this manhwa and only checked in. So basically she never gets into a relationship. But it’s an open ending. It’s heavily implied she loves the brown haired guy, and the brown haired guy knows it too. But they’re all separated (including the blonde). She’s in her world while waiting for brown hair. Brown hair just lives out his life as a regular human until he one day meets her again.
