This is hilarious, a lot of the time I’m just wondering what the heck is going on XD Poor Valerie has gone through so much in one day. Anyways I love her family, they’re all so cyoot. Marshall and her sister especially, they all started crying together ;~;
I also love how she just handles anyone who disrespects her with an emotionless look. It’s different from the usual FL’s who cooly or grandly handle those that don’t like them. Usually most strong FL’s defeat/fight their enemies or count on their intelligence to get back at their enemies eventually, but this FL straight up just ends it there. Some maid she doesn’t want to deal with: “keep that maid away from me.” Some maid disrespects her: she calls the butler and teaches her manners.
A lot of reincarnated stories are easy to expect their events, but when I read this I’m always getting surprises.
I keep laughing at myself cause I read a smutty manga and come for the art and wanted to check out the plot but every time I see a scene where they do it, I’m like: “STOP STAHHHHP!” “NO MORE S*X SCENES.” Like I’m watching a video and seeing too many ads in the middle of it XD These s*x scenes keeping interupping my reading (ノ≧∇≦)ノ The plot is pretty good anyways

It’s understandable that mari’s mad cause she feels like she was betrayed by her friend but they never cheated and it was her brother in the first place. She’s super hypocritical, like she forgets the fact that she also went after a dude who has a family. You would think that she would understand when you like a person so much you’d be willing to stay with them even if you know it’s wrong, seeing as they both did bad things.
I honestly think she’s just taking out all her frustrations on him because she’s mad that he’s happy and she ended up not being happy with her own relationship. And she’s so busy blowing up, she doesn’t even realize the fact that she was part of the reason the mc ended the relationship in the first place. She didn’t think about how he had also suffered and was guilty about the relationship, being in the same position as she was.
Agreed on all of this. I felt as though it was quite hypocritical of her to behave that way. Like she got butthurt --" anyways, what I'd like to know is what happened between then when big bro was in the US. How did they make up? Dis she realize she went overboard? I’m guessing time passed and she got over it, and he was being the nice person and became friends again. Honestly if she was my friend and did the same thing to me, I don’t think we could ever be friends again lol

Lmaoo am I the only one who doesn’t hate Chinese Manhua? I see the overall general opinion of what people think:
Korean manhwa = amazing
Japanese manga = could be great or terrible
Chinese Manhua = horrible

I can say that I’ve seen some pretty bad Manhuas and the art would be lacking but I’ve mainly noticed that this occurs frequently in modern time stories (especially including the rich cold president stories). But most of the historical time or stories set in a world that contains magic are really good. Maybe some people just haven’t looked hard enough to find the best Manhua, cause I know I’ve seen many and am perfectly happy :p

the art style in the cover is obviously better than the actual art style in the chapters, but this doesn’t just go for manhuas only. I’ve seen this happen many times, it may be to attract readers, or maybe it was a requested cover by the author to a really good artist, or it’s because high quality art style is hard to maintain perfectly after a while. There have been stories that are able to keep the same high quality art, but I’d just say that they’re really talented or have a lot of time and patience to keep their art consistent.

As a person who’s done art myself, I draw a really nice character and then as I try to make some sort of comic I get tired of having to redraw with the exact same quality, it’s also hard to keep your style consistent.

Please give love to all asian comics and try to be more open minded to Chinese manhuas, cause I dunno some people be like “no offense but...” or “not trying to be racist but...” even though you kinda did say something a bit insulting lmfao
I think the reason why some people prefer japanese or korean is the story though. Although I have read a few good chinese manwha (bl wise not shojo wise)
My opinion might be biased towards chinese manhua but I do think they don't really care about the quality. Often times the story is just a recycle of what the public wants, (face slapping, mary sue MC) and it feels more like a farm rather than artwork.
Not all are like that, since there are some manhua that I enjoy (Most are BL though) But I do hope they increase more quality manhua.
I'm not a big fan of Chinese manhuas, not because of the art, but mostly because of the characters.
Not sure if it's something cultural or simply a cliche they got very used to see...but they are very "machistas" ( I don't know how to say in English, but it's like sexists I think)
Most of the Chinese manhuas I've read the FL can't never win against the ML, even when she tries to stand up for herself. Which can even get a little cringe...
I feel like most of korean manhwas show a more empowering FL

Lol I get what you mean. I can’t really remember if the ones I’ve read were all Chinese cause it’s kinda hard to tell on the webcomics app, but there’s tons of horrible stories. There was this one comic where the FL was like married to the ML but because of misunderstandings he hates her and literally calls her normal self ugly and a monster. Then she has this masked identity who is bold and can fight really well, the ML loves that version of her and doesn’t realize it’s the same person, so he basically tries to “cheat” with her masked self on her real self. She falls for him tho even though he’s treated her like garbage.
Another comic that drives me insane is where the FL and ML are married (course he’s rich and a complete a**) she’s been in love with him for years, but her step sis “innocently” fell for him and loved him too so the ML and her step sis dated planning to marry, that was until the sis went to jail for the FL (acting like an angelic sister, but she’s evil). ML decided to get married to FL instead (it’s confusing). He treats her as if she ruined their relationship and hates her. Obviously he has feelings for her but proceeds to treat her even worse. He’s abusive and always says terrible stuff to her, confusing her by showing her affection at times and then saying that he only loves her step sis. He’s extremely jealous and has a bad temper. He chokes her sometimes, like it isn’t cute sir -.- He sees her talking to her step sis’ doctor at a hospital and automatically assumes she’s being a h*e, when she’s literally asking the condition of her sis. It never ends. Oh and she believes her step sis’ is actually a good and nice sister.

I don't know but it just turns out that novels I choose are chinese where there are powerful female mcs, logic versus non logic, strong+strong couple, mother of a villain, time travel to start a better life and others. Huh, it actually looks as if he’s becoming more like the average “normal” human being, but at the same time I obviously can’t trust it. I just know in mangas like this where the main dude is a cheating lil sh*t, they never come out alive. I’ve already seen two mangas similar and someone is gonna die lol (though tbh those were more crazier cause they be sleeping around with every woman they see. This story is more frustrating to me cause it actually has a thought out plot in contrast with the two other stories that I’ve seen (those were so ridiculous that I didn’t give a crap about the mc.)) At least but the end of this, I hope sa-Chan doesn’t go yandere mode and kill someone. She’s dumb but still pitiful in my eyes. She knew about how the mc is and wanted to change him, yeah that’s messed up, but then again who hasn’t seen those stories of “good girl wants to change bad boy” stories?

Tbh I really dislike the FL here. Like if you like fujiwara, then like fujiwara?? Why tf you gotta lead the guy who likes you on? There’s plenty of girls who could actually love the second lead, but here she is forcing herself just cause she gets nice treatment from him, and keeps the dude next to her instead of just rejecting him properly. She keeps saying she’ll make sure he won’t feel insecure, or that she likes him, but then easily gets swayed by her first love. I honestly don’t care if she chooses fujiwara but giving the second lead hope is just messed up. I keep thinking to myself: “can I just have him? Surely anyone can treat him with the love he deserves better than this dumb chick.” Lolllll I’m getting heated. If only someone can make a fan made story with the second lead and themself as a character, so he can get the happiness he should have. I’d have to say that this is my least liked manga from this mangaka, their other ones are really sweet and good, but this one leaves a bad aftertaste in my mouth.
