You know what I think is more annoying than the FL? It’s the readers lol. Do they ever have something else to say other than how annoyed they are about the main character? (￣∇￣") I’m laughing cause if people are gonna complain about how they don’t like the FL, then at least say something new and not restated (⌒▽⌒)
Like do you want a FL that can see through someone’s fake nice mask and knows that they’re actually pretty bad? Then you should go check out the villain’s savior, though she knows exactly how the ML truly is, she’s doesn’t really do anything but stick by him.
Anyways I understand that ain taking the poison can actually be beneficial and help him avoid dangerous situations. But at the same time, the chick is from the modern day world, it’s not normal for her to see a kid drinking poison. She can’t help the fact that she doesn’t want to see someone she cares about be in pain.
A real mother would not want to see their kid hurt in any way, and I’m sure a lot of the people complaining aren’t actually mothers yet so they won’t have a true understanding of how it feels like. (Unless they really are mothers than that’s messed up lol). If she really allowed him with no questions asked to continue drinking the poison a ton of people would say: “what’s wrong with her.” Either choice she makes she’d get judged.
And last but not least: to the people who say she’s dumb and naive, you really shouldn’t have a say about that lmao. You get to see everything that’s happening in the story and know that ain is actually faking, where she is unable to see all that’s going on. She can’t read his mind like we can see his thoughts on the screen. It would be more understandable for people to be annoyed if he actually showed strong signs of his true character and she chose to ignore it/pretend like it was just her imagination. The only one who actually told her the truth is her husband and obviously she won’t believe him cause she knows that he doesn’t care much for the son either.

In my personal opinion I think the FL is perfectly fine the way she is. Her current body doesn’t have the same skills she was able to do in her original one, obviously meaning that she’ll have to train and that she isn’t gonna be athletic in a few days. She’s smart and in the end of the day, her method is able to make her group win so I see nothing wrong with it. I could care less for risky or super strong female leads. I’ve always been seeing them everywhere being too op with their intelligence and strength, etc. That gets boring after a while. It’s nice to see that the FL has flaws and has to go through challenges. This challenge just shows that it’s easy enough where she doesn’t even need to do much other than instruct and lead, the real challenge isn’t even here yet.
I’m not gonna start on how skilled she is and how come she doesn’t seem like it, since I don’t really have a say since I literally only sit on my butt and read stories on the internet all day and know nothing of actual training :p
People have such high standards cause they’ve always seen better and can’t help but wonder why she’s not as good as those other op female leads. At the moment she’s taking advantage of what she’s capable of doing with her new body. I’ve seen other female leads where they were so strong but really stubborn and always risky. I’ve also seen a manhua where the FL is super OP and has inhuman strength but she’s not very smart at all and just charges head first into war. I personally really enjoy this story from its art style to its plot and characters. The story is just starting and hasn’t even gotten to the real stuff yet.
Lmaooo the girl hasn’t done anything wrong and yet readers are judging that she’s boring and not skilled ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I guess it just depends on the person reading. I’ve seen hundreds of manhwa, manhua, manga, from the absolute terrible ones to the top tier ones, and I still don’t have high expectations for new stories I’m just getting into. I guess it’s cause I’m very open minded to weak MCs to strong MCs and have a lot of patience (seriously I’ve read a shoujo manga where the mc is really annoying and stubborn while dating the second lead up until she finally realized who she’s really in love with at the 100+ chapter).
I don't understand what's so boring about her either. I think she's pretty great if anything. She has a clear goal on what she wants. She's not distracted by silly love games and she's clearly blending in well for someone who transmigrated/reincarnated. Like all these other story's where they reincarnate and they act completely different but ppl r ok with it.... Like what logic is that?

So true. I feel like the definition of a “op” character depends from person to person. It could be in terms of physical strength, intelligence, or it has to be both. Personally I really like the fl. She’s very clever.
I find it rather annoying when people are so quick to complain about the lack of action or a character being weak when the story is far from being finished or reaching the climax. Or when people label a character as weak or boring just because she can’t physically fight. I think it’s cool that she has a strong mentality and can effectively utilize the knowledge and tools that she has. Everyone looked down on her but she ended up carrying her whole team and lead them to victory, even though she can’t fight. Sort of like a “sike you thought I was weak and was gonna lose but look who won instead” sort of thing. But in the end the way people view a character is based on their preferences so there really is not much, nor a purpose for me to convince someone to think otherwise. Overall I just hope that people will continue to read this and support the fl, I’m sure as the story progresses, she’ll get stronger and the relationships we all hope for will develop, lol.

Lol i knowww, people think: “since this girl can’t fight she’s not cool!1!1 With her trained skills she should be able to fight like before even if she transmigrated into a completely new body that’s super weak!1!1!” People are so used to seeing female leads being able to fight that they suddenly expect and want every other FL of other stories to do the same. They talk as if they actually have a say in what happens in the story or that they actually do stuff other than read online stories and judge while sitting on their butt while they have no idea how to fight irl either lmao.
And the manga I was talking about was Ao haru ride/blue spring ride. It’s been a while since I read and finished it but the FL irritated me to the max. I understand if she was being stubborn about not getting with the ML because he was being annoying but she dragged it out for so long. And also dated the second lead during that time. And I’m just sitting there smacking my head, already knowing that she loves the ML and will end up with him, so I wonder why she gotta drag her relationship out with the 2nd lead?

I personally like her very, very much. In a way with my expectations, I’m like you. I’ve read hundreds of manhwas/mangas/manhuas and I like her quite well. She can’t use her strength in this new body that has never even seen a day of exercise and yet, she’s compensating very well with her other skills. People complain about how she’s not showing real skills and only depending on her bracelet, but isn’t the real skill knowing what to do with the bracelet in the first place?
Lmao I keep seeing comments about the whole normalizing rape, and one like: “these people have never seen what harada’s works are about. I’m not saying it’s right, don’t get me wrong. I don’t like rape (but after the many years of reading Yaoi, unfortunately it’s no surprise seeing it all the time). Lol so I’m not gonna even start with who I think is better than the other whether it be chanwoo or MD. Too many people are trying to split into sides about chanwoo has his own right to not date MD or MD being too good for chanwoo.
What I’m worried about is this new guy. Judging from my previous knowledge of BL stories the “nice guy” could easily be putting on an innocent show. Now I wouldn’t have been so on guard of him if it weren’t for the author putting some sort of foreshadowing with chanwoo’s previous ex’s. I mean chanwoo literally said it himself, that he would always think he would be dating a good guy but then they turn bad. Meaning his judgement of character isn’t exactly the best.
When it focused on DG and jiwon’s relationship we would see how chanwoo was like, and I honestly expected his character to be the type that doesn’t take any bull from anyone and won’t let himself get insulted. But now that we’re seeing his own story, there’s more to know about him, showing an unexpected side where he may not be able to keep his partners in check from hurting him.
Anyways whoever this nice guy is, I only keep in mind that 95% of the time there’s a really innocent type of character, they’re usually gonna have some flaws or a really big flaw in their personality. And if this guy is supposedly even kinder or purer than his previous ex’s than the possibility of him secretly being even worse isn’t zero.
Also technically the new dude didn’t specify whether or not he’s more into a sub or dom. And him asking about MD might actually be interest in becoming a sub for MD too. Chanwoo actually just assumed he’s a top/dom.

Lmao I knew as soon as MD smiled about the situation he was about to get a ton of hate. I’m not gonna say that it’s chanwoo’s fault that he’s in this situation or that he deserves it. But I’m mostly just disappointed in how chanwoo didn’t learn from his previous bad relationships. He already knows how he would fall for “seemingly nice guys” and then it would turn out terrible in the end, but is surprised to find that he was tricked once again. I wish he would just learn from his previous experiences so that he wouldn’t get hurt again.
Anyways I’m also disappointed in the fact that he actually agreed to have them meet. Even though he already knows how MD feels about him, he would just easily let his supposed new boyfriend meet the guy that loves him/he rejected. And he also hasn’t even known the guy that long either? Don’t even get me started on how “chanwoo doesn’t have an obligation to love MD, etc.” I’m not saying anything about that. I know he doesn’t need to love or date MD and agreed to have a no strings attached relationship with him, but there’s a thing called consideration that should be put in place. Especially if he continues to meet MD with BDSM stuff and continues to have that connection as a partner and friend. MD is a person who has feelings and isn’t some stranger that chanwoo should be able to just reject and forget.
Judging from DG and Jiwon’s story when Chanwoo was involved, it seemed that chanwoo knew a lot more about how someone should be treated and tends to care more about the treatment of his friend’s relationship more than his own. I thought that after seeing his fierceness in protecting his friend that he would be perfectly fine handling his own relationships and well-being but it turns out that he’s got some flaws in his own judgement as well.
Btw I’m not gonna talk about MD’s way of working out this situation cause it clearly is already being talked about and there’s no need to restate the exact things others have said.
