Why is it that I feel bad for some of the dudes that kidnapped FL lmao. Specifically the guy that helped FL when she was pretending to be another girl- it’s surprising he even helped at all. And also the guy that was in charge of bringing the food, bro was just doing his job
╥﹏╥
These guys forced to take orders and got no mercy in return. F the blonde ex
(╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

Lmfao it’s the scenes where the two guys are searching for the FL that escaped but mistakenly believed FL’s lie about being a woman who ran from her abusive husband. Instead of questioning her further or not bothering to help at all, one of the dudes gives advice and even tells her the direction of where she can go. There’s three other males in the chapter, those are the only ones that I would be referring to lol

Now see one thing I like about the villains is that they actually get the job done and don’t play any nonsense. They finish off their enemies so they won’t be a problem later on and it become much easier for them. That’s one thing the good guys have issues with doing (and yes I knowwww that’s the point and what’s separate them from being bad) The thing is rather than wanting the mc and his allies to be heroes, I’d much rather them be anti-heroes.
Anyways another thing I want to point out is, what the enemy dude said about breeder making a pair, one female and one male. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT tell me that means they’re gonna force some bullshit fanservice AGAIN with making these pairs mate to make powerful kids. I pray they don’t. I get the author/artists of this story were known to previously make smut story but they really don’t need to include that in every single work they make from now on.
(╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I’m glad I wasn’t regularly keeping up with the story and only checked on it when it ended lol. I’ll say that everyone in this story is messed up except for the glasses guy. I don’t even know what the lesson was, except for the fact that bad guys can have their happy ending.
Blue hair girl: homewrecker/cheater tried to plot with the other two guys to get MC’s man. She gave up after being rejected and supposedly turned a new leaf and gets to be with pink haired guy who likes her and is all friendly with MC even when she schemed to take her man (which I don’t remember if she even told FL that she did all that).
Light brown hair guy: also a homewrecker/cheater, tried to get MC at all costs resorting to drugging her drink, and using a fake positive pregnancy test. Gave up quickly despite all this when MC told him to stay away from her, and also easily got together with the blonde girl when he had no one else on his side.
Blonde girl: also helped scheme with the light brown hair guy cause she liked him. Got to be with light brown haired guy.
Pink haired guy: also helped scheme with both the light brown hair guy and blue hair girl cause he likes blue hair girl. Ended up getting with blue hair girl in the end.
Dark blue haired guy/MC’s husband: can’t communicate at all with MC, emotional cheating, physical cheating by making out with blue haired girl, agreed to the spouse swap, said he liked his coworker all along (maybe only happened after being hurt by wife cheating- but he started liking her while still being married). Gets to be with the worker in the end. Despite this he was one of the few who had less maliciousness. He contributed to the problem and MC’s insecurity, gave her a chance even when he found out she slept with the other guy, but got hurt by the same insecurity she felt and also made out with blue hair girl. He also had a feeling it would happen since he agreed to the spouse swap in the first place. The only reason he has less faults is because he didn’t scheme anything against anyone, tried to still love and stay with MC despite being hurt and also rejected blue haired girl.
MC: emotionally and physically cheated. She felt insecure due to her husband’s miscommunication. She is at fault as well. MC ends up single despite having two guys who originally liked her.
Coworker: liked a married man and knew he was married, sided with the blue haired girl who she believed was the mistress. Though not scheming anything.

So I guess the story wanted to show they were all flawed? But the biggest malicious schemers get their happy endings with their own partners and no serious consequences. (Light brown, blue hair, pink hair, and blonde hair). The only one who wasn’t bad was the guy with glasses/dark brown hair- he was the most normal and got cheated on by his ex wife. Despite this he stayed friends with the blue haired homewrecker, pink haired schemer, and cheating wife MC ?

Now I just finished season one. And I think the story is pretty entertaining and the art is super cute. The only thing is that I noticed a bunch of stuff happens off screen and you only see the results after.
Mention of spoilers for those who haven’t finished season one:

Things like the ML’s brother and stepmom situation getting resolved in one chapter without even showing their faces since before the timeskip. The entire time skip of FL living at the medeste house. FL being close to a guild leader which we never saw their interaction before until after they just said they knew each other. Meriel’s meeting with the crown prince and how they fell for each other, etc. It’s just that a lot of things are mentioned and then aren’t shown the progress of.

So this story is rushed af, but tbh it doesn’t bother me much lol. Lots of issues casually resolved in the span of one chapter, tons of time skips. Like the war being done in one chapter, the antagonists being punished in the same amount of time. The development of relationships is extremely rushed and not focused on. Examples include FL bonding with the two kids, with the daughter’s being a quick montage in the first two chapters of the story, and the son hardly having much screen time with the FL. You could probably count the amount of times they interacted on your hand(s). Same with the ML, he quickly fell for her, as well as the 2nd lead and the 3rd lead. Then the 2nd lead saying he’ll return in three months after the contract ends- but then he doesn’t show up for multiple chapters and appears years later when the kids have grown up and the FL has been married to the ML for years already.
Lots of issues with the rushing of everything but this is an easy read for anyone who’s bored. I will say though- it’s odd that both the ML and FL noticed their children liked each other very early on but did nothing about it. Never thought about what will happen to the kids when they’re officially married. Ig both FL and ML truly didn’t give af about their kids feelings lmfao. It’s likely they’ll go with the flow of “if they like each other cool! Be together then!” Even when it’s established none of them are actually blood related (saying that ML and son isn’t blood related and neither is the FL and daughter), the whole empire knows the two are lawfully siblings- so idk how they’ll resolve that but it’s likely they’ll rush that resolution too. It doesn’t help that it looks like the final chapter is chapter 60. Anyways one other interesting fact is that it looks like they changed Coral’s appearance from the novel. In the novel she has the same silver hair as FL and has red eyes. In the manhwa she has an entirely different appearance, with pink hair and blue eyes. Thought that was an odd change.

I’m surprised people don’t realize that “babe” or any “sweet” nicknames aren’t always used for lovers. There’s people who naturally call others nicknames like friends or waitresses who use nicknames when talking to others.
Then there’s the thing where they use nicknames to make people mad. Like when you’re in an argument and someone says “sweetheart, you really thought you ate with that comment?” It’s the number one fastest way to get ppl mad lmfaooo
Bruh even if lady lance is a nice girl overall, it’s giving me so much second-hand embarrassment when she’s so delulu. It doesn’t help that her friends and mother are feeding into her delusions. It’s just so shocking to me how dense everyone else is when it’s being shown right in front of their faces that ML likes FL. The only ones to have noticed right away is FL’s maid, ML’s butler and ML’s sister. I mean HOW did FL and ML’s closest friends not notice?? Even Mr Fairfax had no clue until he was told about it, and he realized how slow he was.
Now at first I thought ML was also at fault for being misleading but if I REALLY think about it, he was not showing any romantic interest in her whatsoever. He showed her basic manners as a gentleman. If his actions were to be called misleading, then by that logic, FL would be leading men on for simply being nice like ML is doing to others. Being nice doesn’t equal showing affection.
The only misleading thing is that he doesn’t immediately reject any offer she makes despite him not wanting to do/go to any event she plans.
Now onto some spoiler:

Idk if people know this but the number one most annoying thing an artist hates to hear is “can you draw me something? Can you draw me?” And that’s exactly what lady lance does
( ̄∇ ̄")
Even when he says no more than once, she insists he does it and even uses the sister of ML’s friend as an excuse to get a drawing done. Now this is where ML may start to actually choose to mislead. Although I honestly am not sure if ML even realizes lady lance likes him- but he is thinking that lady lance could be the person that helps connects him to FL. So maybe actual leading-on will come into play from now on.
Oh hell no. She is even more delulu than I thought. Girlie needs an ice cold shower for her to come to her senses
