Love this story so far. Sila is so funny and badass, and Jullius is adorable. They're perfect for each other, I hope the realise it soon, I'm not expecting a lot of emotional drama since this has been a comic series so far.(￣∇￣")
Re-reading this it still sets me fire that those rapists assholes were never brought to justice. I know the stigma of rape, but that only exists to protect the bastards. Makes me boil with rage. Lol
Does anyone else wonder if this mangaka is okay? Like mentally and eemotionally well? Because this shit is just gross and pure rapey.
You'd think with all the meditating (cultivating) that mages in this verse need to do to level up, they'd be better human beings. So many advanced/ intermediate mages are assholes. And Mo Fan himself is a gross lech.(they took out A LOT of his grossness for the webtoon and animated series.
I love this pair so much, they're a sweet and different relationship.
It also cracks me up that Megumi is a lot like like Harutsugu (Tsugumi's dad)
Not really sure why I liked this so much, it felt rich in story and detail. Also the mangaka's style is very nice, you can tell she takes a lot of time on each page. I look forward to more from her.
Despite the author's love of shota, the art is pretty and the story good. Tomomi was a likeable side chick.
I do like this trope of idiot!Princes leaving their fiancee for some piece of obvious fluff bait and then getting their asses handed to them.
Scarlet is my fav yet, since she's not using subtle psychological tactics, but her damn fists. Don't we all wish we could just punch people that piss us off.
