Maya simply didn't see Ruka for the obvious snake he was - even though he was wary of him initially, he got caught up in the rush of doing something he liked. Thus he kinda ignored Nemu and all his signs.
Seeing him so obviously depressed at being rejected is bad, but Nemu has been feeling that for months and has just been better at hiding it.
They just need to talk. And Ruka needs to get into therapy.
Man, that confession was really good for my soul. Juda has so many cute expressions. (especially compared to Luado)
Daath is still insecure, but most of his issues have always been internal. Hope Toneria ends up in jail (or dead) he's acting like he's the Godfather, but he's just a lonely, controlling bastard.
Giving this a re-read, and holy smokes is Ruka creepy. Like scary creepy. Also, him betraying Maya like that is painful to watch - cause y'know Maya wasn't quick to trust him. I can completely understand Nemu's recalcitrance to tell Maya he's working with a snake.
Maya and Nemu are both such babies, neither has really had much experience with betrayal, especially from someone with bizarre motivations.
With all the charming sexist behaviour still intact.
This has a cute premise, and one that I like - but having the Alpha keep hitting on the Omega and getting in his personal while working just made me really uncomfortable.
Then came that scene with the other sexually aggressive alpha and instead of leaving that situation the Omega is all smiles and let me continue working for you - wtf man, I'm tired of this nonsense, where women (in this case omegas) just have to ignore assholes that behave like creeps. Fuck them all. Hope they drown in a pond (they won't).
Hope this gets better.

I really need to know wtf put these things in motion. I mean we've kinda gone completely off mission, I want to know who hired those guys and what they want with Fei.
Also, I need Asami to gtfo that island and shoot some bitches.
