My heart feels bad for the child. You want to hate him because he's the half child from the evil stepmother. But she abuses her real child more than her stepchild & the father is complete unless trash. Who else can he turn to besides his half brother who he has no real relationship with? I want to cry.

There’s stories that do this as well. There’s another omegaverse where it starts out with the two main characters already married and had a child, and then they go on to tell their child the “how I met your dad” story with flashbacks. Then there’s another omegaverse with the same premise but mainly focusing on wholesome moments with their kid and occasionally showing a short backstory on how they met and got together.
It’s not that anything is missing. It’s how the author wants to write the “how I met your mother” genre. It’s like a how a bunch of other stories start the first chapter in current time being bad, then proceeds with a long flashback
They're too perfect. Sometimes you need to take a break from the dramatic/toxic couples & just chill and read about this cozy cute couple.(⌒▽⌒)
