wow, I think the execution for ch 9, and this page: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/i_m_a_villainous_daughter_so_i_m_going_to_keep_the_last_boss/hs/mpn_chapter-2091085/pg-13/
was awesome. I really felt that last line
'' King Claude,
The world of humans...My world is so very foul. ''

hm idk I'm not too into this one. After having read sensei's other manga (shinobebo koi, nerameba koi) this one sorta seems.. stale? underwhelming? in comparison. It's a plot Ive already seen countless times before and characters that are sorta flat and don't feel as fleshed out. Atmosphere and tone dont feel as well done either compared to sensei's other manga.
Welp who knows maybe itll get better, though Im really not into the two mc's atm

The main plot line is pretty standard with just a little variation. You can only get so much change when the main intrigue dosent have a lot to work with.
Pretty much it can be encapsulated by the 'no homo' trope. You have your typical (useless) straight guy who loves women (but other dude is a special case) and some gay dude who's sick of his shit but still likes him (for some reason?? why!?). Maybe using this sorta plot would have been okay with good characters but the development of these two really has not been great so far. Nothing much to offer. It's a story Ive heard before and you saying 'sorry but no' doesnt make it more interesting or unique

To clarify, the only plot this story has is a goodfornothing very straight dude who's only goes gay for one dude, and the no homo trope which the author has somehow managed to progress it to such an extreme that it's getting rather irritating. It's literally a put together of common tropes that are usually only sub/sideplots in other manga but somehow is literally the main focus in this manga. If you still think this is unique then youre just being willfully ignorant and can't accept the truth.

If you are so blind that you insist on an example heres a manga which has both tropes as aforementioned:

http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/tadareta_koi_ni_wa_itashimasen/uu/tadareta_koi_ni_wa_itashimasen-chapter-1
Ex of straight goes gay only for one person:

Honestly this happens so much that I feel giving examples is dumb. The difference between some of these examples is that the single trope or two isnt what makes up the entire story. Other stuff actually happens and theres other components that make the story unique and interesting.
And ex of straight goes gay only for one person plus nohomo trope but the characters actually have some awareness and aren't completely oblivious:
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/by_my_side/
I don't even read that many yaoi manga and I could easily find the tropes just by looking into a few.
And Im willing to bet there are many many more that I dont care to waste more of my time looking for to show you; and most definitely you have also come across some but can't admit it.

and again. I just found another manga with the no homo trope: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/golden_sparkle/hs/mpn_chapter-2004854/pg-1/
Point is that these this stuff (or very similar versions of it) reoccur so much everywhere that the plot of this manga, especially considering how it legit just centered around these tropes and has nothing else that adds to the story, is very stale and unoriginal.

“No homo” is as dated as “Yolo” and “Gag me with a wet spoon”. That was high school slice of life, not comedic airheads in denial. The prior one is with 2 straight guys. You might as well list every BL because 2 guys get romantically involved, then listed every romance period since people fall in love, as being typical plot devices

lol wut. Doesnt that just make the concept feel even less original.
Oooooo so much difference!! bruh. no. thats not what I said. the point is that the concept for this entire plot has been constantly used and the tropes are the only things that make up the entire story. Other manga may also contain some of those tropes, but the difference is that they usually dont center the main story around it; the tropes make up just a few parts of the story.

Ok I was just thinking, although I really really dislike Asahi, would it have been better if Ruri had brought her back to the dragon kingdom? (In terms of the war because then she cant be manipulated) hmm... but then again that could just be a reason for them to declare war that their shrine maiden was taken or something...

I thought dragon people were a lot stronger than humans so maybe they would be more resistant as well right?
Like what option is gonna cause fewer casualties and deaths. Were talking about war here. If Asahi stays then that means the kingdom likely has full support from it's citizens because the 'shrine maiden' says ' yes, lets go to war, lolol!!'. This most likely means way more casualties. Whereas if she goes to the dragon kingdom and announces out of her own dumb mouth that those priests and people in power are full of shit, and then news spreads, chances are that the citizens will not be fully willing to go to battle which means less deaths.
Like idk I still feel that bringing the thing causing problem away and where you can monitor it would be a better thing to do..

I both agree and disagree. Because bringing the thing causing the problems with the war would definitely help stop it. Unless the kingdom twisted it into saying that the dragon kingdom stole the shrine maiden or something.
But also Asahi is the cause of like ALL of Ruri's problems, so basically making it so that Asahi is stuck to her again is just going to suffocate our MC and I really like what freedom she has going for her right now.
I guess we'll just have to see how this plays out...

yea i guess we will just have to wait and see... but Asahi she is on a different level I don't understand her logic and i don't think i ever will. will there ever be a day where she is more understandable to the general public?? even after the war, she is still a problem to our mc or to people in general *sigh* lol i wonder if the fairies could feel that the mc is pissed off or annoyed with Asahi and decides to get rid of her hahhahhahhaha
Ive never clicked on an update so fast
