I was like ‘wow this story’s ridiculous’ and then i saw this mangaka also made fudanshi kun’s honey days and i went ‘ Oohhh makes sense’
I loveee the main couple but that incest subplot threw me off ngl
So a summary for anyone who wants to know but doesn’t want to see the graphic scenes:
Sheephead mask guy was sexually and mentally abused in the military by the guy (lets call him shithead) he kidnapped and raped. There were other perpetrators, but he was a key one. In the later chapters, after being in captivity for so long, shithead guy seems to have devolved mentally. He doesn’t even try to escape. I think he genuinely did go insane and that it wasn’t an act. My favorite scene was either when the sheephead guy stood outside the door with a knife in case the shithead guy wanted to escape or when the shithead guy started asking for noodles. Something about it was funny to me in an absurd way. Anyways, shithead guy presumably kills the sheephead mask guy and escapes but then sees him again and starts hallucinating about him. My guess is he still has some trauma from the event and is experiencing psychosis because of it.

The ‘rapist gets raped’ trope is very controversial and dark, but regardless i’m glad that the sheephead guy got his revenge. Good for him
