She could’ve told her older uncle (twins’ father) while she sorts finding concrete evidence since he trusts her now though and as for the reason, she can tell him she recognizes it in the tea because of her background in growing plants/poisons in her garden where she practices to be a saint. Then, her uncle can at least take precaution and protect the aunt while the fl find a solution. They would surely consider it as it’s coming from the older uncle.

The uncle doesn’t hate her because her birth caused her sister’s death, she assumed that because that’s the original soul’s memory and the original soul is an unreliable narrator because she only hears what the society and maids say. The uncle hates her because she was an evil obsessive bitch who doesn’t care about the family name and pride. The uncle seems to care a lot about the family name and pride, she was already being cared for and provided more than the average (she has her own garden and all) so in the uncle’s mind, the least she can do is not bring shame upon their family lame.
