someone in comment said before that as streamer almond is kinda boring. it actually depends on people's preference, and based on my preference
... yes almond is kinda boring. i read to see an OP MC and an interesting plot, but even that OP-ness may get boring too in the future. i can just scroll to see where the plot's going or read spoiler.
it may be bc I have read infinite flow BL novels before, where MC is usually both OP and have very interesting personality (BL has nothing to do with it). also chinese netizens are like 200% more funnier than other countries' netizens based on my meager experiences. so really, compared to them this webtoon is only good for the archery and plot.
well this is just my preference, after all irl i also don't have a hobby to watch game streamers so maybe that's why i am not that taken with the streaming's aspect. it's interesting as a fictional story tho.

it's cute and funny sometimes but i hope noa-chan will tone down her jealousy with reni and so does reni. reni is a family. but more than that, i get that reni is wary of noa-chan but complimented with reni's usual tsundere attitude, suddenly being jealous of a woman near her brother, feel like a brocon trope almost done badly. tachibana's flashback.
overall still very cute story, author just need to use better trope for side characters.

the story has gone downhill for me ever since season 2 (alicia recognized as princess and they all graduate) it losts its initial comedy and relatability as otome game. as expected the confession is funny tho and suit them but the execution fall short somewhere. this used to be my fav isekai villainess and i waited for the update everyday.

jerome is definitely out. Ivan is a good choice but at this point he doesn't have chance as male lead in theory.
If you have a duke and a commoner, most shoujo webtoon will choose the duke right but it's not just that.
Ivan could only win if (1) the duke was an ass (2) natasha really like Ivan to choose commoner over a duke. However the duke has a good personality and Ivan is just a sibling to Natasha.
The rational natasha won't dare to reject a duke by choosing a commoner or anyone of lower status really. At least not until she's sure the duke has given up on her OR if she knows the duke is not the sort of person who will harm her beloved (who knows). but then again Natasha isn't interested in romance anyway. So the only chance she will end up with anyone if there's someone else with a duke status who is different from other nobles who is persistent or patient enough to wait for her. unfortunately there's no one else but we get just one.
conclusion I think author make a rational reasoning of male lead among the candidates. It's nice that

the reason why it feels easier to ship MC with male characters (yes that new one too) I just feel their dynamic wouldn't be too stupid and dull. MC with other girls are like "saving the damsel in distress" meanwhile with men, "there's something more about him" well exception is probably Flame, but Flame too going to be damsel in distress in front of MC soon (if not already i don't remember). and Flame also has this typical nosey female character trait, plus high imagination (it's funny tho)

i can't explain this but at the core this is only a reverse harem with uninteresting cast of characters. it definitely doesn't have confident to sell itself without the fanservice and pretty art. the dynamic between the female lead and the love interests are even dull. at this point i can only ship FL with her brother.

for example, the world building isn't bad, but it was really unfocused and some stuff came out of nowhere. it's trying the fantasy plot but it's still too much of at the level of shoujo. the party assembled easily just because one has connection, the villain came out too suddenly, and the answer also got explained in exposition. yeah and then the OP ML will solve everything. may i add that the typical ML's role is filled with the brother....
okay this is def a unique point that the position of the strongest and the one who save MC the most who usually belong to ML is snatched by the brother. but isn't this also bad bc i cant see where this story going both in fantasy plot or romance plot.

I was going to air my frustrations about how I wouldn't read the rest and would only jump to the ending when it came out but then I found spoiler
it's just bad, it ain't it
the art is great and the plot concept and world building are somewhat fresh at least but the plot and characters are just bad. it's trying to be a mystery which okay congrats it is very confusing but also frustrating and the mix with slice of life just down bad. and tbh the villain is predictable, the lie and the scheme feel too cheap/juvenile for a villain even if people fell for it. yeah. it's like what's the point of all that thing. the motivation is just too unbelievable petty and something only a villain in shoujo fantasy world will have.
okay, here now we have another damsel in distress, she was redeemed a bit because she did actively tried to make her situation better but the plot, the author just tripping her. the story was so gloriously frustrating it's like she was still being locked in that damn room with no way out. if i were her i would roll my eyes and kill my self again hoping my next reincarnation will ont happen after everyone who are after me died, yeah sayonara for good. it's always good to have the the will of life though, so i will respect that about MC.
and meanwhile the situation was dire she still had the time to run around the town and having a date with two men who obviously would never have a chance with her (the ML is obviously the third prince). it's usually not that bad but when the situation was that dire, how can i enjoy their date and the slice of life part of the story. it feel like a mesh of two things that doesn't mix well together. here another eye roll. why these shoujo/josei never can't make up their mind when it come to making story full of urgency. they didn't go all out and it's just ended up confusing to read the vibe you know.
next, even after the spoiler I still can't really forgive the third prince, or it's not him I cant forgive, it's the generic misunderstanding situation (he was another cold male lead that was actually only cold because he wanted to protect her yada yada, please this is so overdone and not attractive at all). the third prince in beach memory was so lovely tho.
and the villain was downright creepy. I would prefer a story where MC wasn't the center of the world, or at least don't make it only about romance.
maan i am yapping so much because i just feel sad with the lost potential. the art is good and i actually appreciate that the premises and the world building aren't bad. the thing about reincarnated lover is always a good potential it can be used in many different way, this one just wasn't it

i forgot to add, some things are just too obvious my friend. once you see hint that's this is another one of those "keep his distance because he wants to protect her" you know who's good guy and bad guy. it's only confusing because MC is too much of a naive person and author forced readers to believe in MC's POV too much but I feel only gullible people really fell for this trick.
okay girls, if you read many shoujo manga or know many shoujo tropes, this one doesn't even trying to hide them good.
if I am the villain I will just straight up kidnap MC instead of paying this mind game when even the MC is naive and gullible tbh it'll just lost the point of wanting to be a serious story.
okay i am probably too harsh since idk exactly their circumstances but since their circumstances are mostly based on the world building i think, then it is author's deliberate choice to trip/trap their own characters to make those actions, yeah it's one of those story that i feel everyone only moving according to the plot and the plot is dead
the rules are illogical and the whole story relied on this to have a story in the first place.
how come there is no amaha queen who opposed to this, if people relied heavily on her power, why no one think to use that to their advantage? the amaha queen literally has them on her mercy. AND if only the obedient one who can't see that is choosen, idk why author think it'll make a good story to follow such a weak FL. obviously everything are just a plot device. i am too annoyed to even swoon at the ML. He's different from others in story sure, but technically what he did/thought was just basic human decency so he didn't actually have a plus.
other world building are also all over the places and just come one after another. i think i will only read this when i want to bad mouth something to relieve stress
