I'm on the officials read through, so please no spoilers if this has already been explained, but my theory is that the bunny belongs to Alice, or that jerk demon boy called her Alice because the bunny is somehow his.
Of course this is all assuming I didn't just forget this was already explained to us to.
Side note: I skimmed the latest chapter as quickly as I could, while seeing if the rabbit happened to pop up, in case everyone keeping up with unofficially already knew this, but I saw some things, and now I have SO many regrets.

The story dragged out so much longer than necessary as it was, and they decided to keep going?!? Aaaaand it's my single most hated trope in Manga/hwa/hua too. Come ooooon! We already watched him grow up, usually stories include the "magically turned into a child o0o , oh no!" arc: to show the character we're all supposed to fall in love with, as their cutest self, so the mc can take care of them while they're unable to do so themselves, so the mc can get a taste of raising a kid that will have similar energy, AND so when the lead grows back up, the mc misses their kid self and are forced to face the truth that they are ready to have kids with the lead.
The last two reasons are the only that aren't completely unnecessary at this point in the story. Had I been the author of this, I would have put this into the story much earlier on, if I felt it we're Andalusia necessary; that said, this story specifically already had mc kinda looking after ml while they were both kids, because mentally, she wasn't.
It's sad cause the more of this that comes out, the more I'm forced to think about, the more I realize how kinda fricked up this story is...
Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging those who likes this story, it's cute fluff for the majority of the time, and to each their own; but I /aaaam/ judging the author, if only a little.
i think the author wants to highlight the father son relationship instead of the child raising trope you just mentioned
You know what, that's totally fair. Because ml didn't get a proper childhood, this is a genuinely good reason. I didn't read the new chapter, largely because his childhood was so long ago I had entirely forgotten he didn't get happy daddy/baby boy time. I try not to form opinions without reading things first, but I had just gotten so sick of this story, especially how the end seemed to go on forever, it was a trope I greatly dislike, and it was a side story so I figured it had little importance.
If I'm fully transparent here, I would have rather given dad time with his bby boy than the actual end of the main story.
Regardless I'll stop complaining now lol.
I love this story, as far as I can tell, but these translations are brutal. I'm going to self-hiatus until the officials hopefully come out.
I'm not sure I can get through this one, girls. It's just so incredibly sad. I am near hurting for poor Mel; he didn't ask for nor did he deserve a single nano second of any of this.
