So who has a theory???? Cuz I don't aaaand I need it
Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

Orange hair is not bio related to the father's and their brother might not be either. But since brother and him kinda got similar features to the father (like the yellow eyes), I'm assuming their bio father might be the uncle or somehow also related to the duchy, but not in a way that would give them inheritance, expecially for orange hair (and expecially if Duke found out). Little does orange hair know that MC is actually bio related to the duke, and I'm assuming that the orange hair mother has a bigger hand in MC's death than MC's dad. She might have been extra keen on getting rid of MC since it sounds like her sons (and potentially daughter that passed away) are not related to the Duke. That's all I got for now, and just in case, it is all my theory.

I regret reading a spoiler for this!!!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
It has killed the story for me (/TДT)/
WOE IS MEEEEE ┗( T﹏T )┛

Ok so libertia is actually her (fl) twin sister. L's mom had actually given birth to twins and the blue haired girl is the body of the twin sis. It's mentioned that ppl from L's side of the fam has a special power or something. There is an older comment that explained this way better. But basically the fl (in og body) was gonna die or did die so her soul was sent to Korea (by L), but because L didn't want her sis to forget her as they had a great relationship, she made her world appear in fl s world in order update her sis on her life but since fl died, her soul got transferred back to "novel". The soul inside "ariel" does not belong in it. The fl is the true owner of the body. I remember being quite confused about a portion of the spoiler as technically the prince is a half brother to "ariel" but the portion i read wasn't that detailed concerning this. If I remember more details, will be sure to tell you.

couldn't! Get past that 1st chapter. She did it to herself
(╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸 she chose to neglect her kid. I get the husband could have spent time with her but she herself was self centered and made the conscious decision to blame the child. In part of the chapter where she said she was only 22? Ok and? It's a period novel and judging by the appox time period (we can all assume with time period it is from the effing fashion) most of the Women should have already been in a relationship from age 16 and above. At 22, she old, no body would want her unless she came with money and a background. Anyway ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ she brought it upon herself and had no one to blame but her self. The child is who suffered the most from her hate and neglect

This comment is so ignorant that it's not even in the slightest bit funny.
She was 17 when she had Vicente. Later on in the chapters it shows just what in the hell she was going through. It wasn't just blatant neglect, some mothers after going through birth go through a depression and with all the stress she had to go through it's honestly not that hard to understand why she did so. Some people need time to love something and while we all wish she could've instantly loved her son it just hasn't happened that way. Blaming the mother for something out of there reach is fucking horrible for you to do. She had little support, even with Harsen there, her father on both sides died, her husband was at war, her sister miscarried.
There's different factors involved in this but it's not as shallow as you think it is so continue fucking reading the story dickwad

Kudos to you @Dino for pointing this out. To the original post, maybe you're too young to understand?
The shallow conclusion that we give without trying to understand a person’s background, point of view in life and their journey is something that we often forget. I hope the OG poster may open up their mind, if not here, maybe in real life (⌒▽⌒)

Idk dipshit, maybe it's not remotely funny because I wasn't trying to humer every fucking little prick.
Again, it's a period comic. Ppl were already engaged and having kids by 16. Historically, by their teens, these "kids" had matured much more quickly than those in the last century. Why? Cuz chances are they would have an early death. For centuries the "ripe" age of marriage for many that had a title would be 12 to 15 and only in the last couple of centuries did it change to 18 ish cuz the blokes were the common people.
Not so fun fact: when women found out they were pregnant (this being from before the 15 century) they would write a will. Why??? Cuz shit might go down. In other words they were likely to die. Cuz childbirth did just that. Depending on the century, the chances of a miscarriage would be averaged out at 30% while at times as low as 11%. Even in current days, 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in miscarriage and that's with all the shit we do to prevent them along with medical aadvances.in short, it was NORMAL to hear of miscarriages.
On another note. The average life span of human was around 30 to 50 years of age. 50 being really hopeful. You became a wizard at 60.
Also, war is common, time period wise, it's fucking normal. Someone's brother, cousin, husband would be at war
And just for the sake of pleasantries, (︶︿︶)=凸

You assume I am young so it's safe to assume Dino along with yourself never took history classes seriously. My comment stemmed from the historical aspect of the story. What was historically the norm and what wasn't. I pinpointed on her age and her lack of care for the child for a reason. I would obviously not place these same standards on modern day women. The marriageable age has gone up and the medical field has advised what age range is best for a safe pregnancy. I advice all to maybe take a history class. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

I may try to read at a later date but it won't be anytime soon, the 1st chapter really was just off putting. Regardless of it being fiction (and my dislike of children) I have no need of watching children die internally.
Will need to read some of the fluffiest child raising manga I can to cleanse my soul of the discomfort ( ̄∇ ̄")

Just because it was the norm for people of that age to be married and take on the role of an adult doesn't mean it was easy for everyone? Ur definitely right in that people of that time period was marrying at an younger age and had shorter life expectancy but to generalize everyone and invalidate the female leads struggles is just plain unwarranted. Like yea she was a shit mother and that was a conscious decision but the whole point of the plot is redemption and righting the wrong doing so I'm not sure why u feel extremely angered by her past actions when this story clearly focuses on her consciously changing her course of action and changing the mistakes she made previously. No where in the story is she blaming anyone else for her mistakes so again I'm not quite sure where all this anger is coming from? sorry this was a long rant but I do think u should definitely give this manga a 2nd read as the more recent chapters sorta gives an explanation on why she made the decisions she made even if they weren't the right ones.

Edgy, ignorant, arrogant and foolish. This is not a good combination.
However, you have the option to change. You don't have to be so rude and mean to people. I typically choose not to be a bitch to other people, but Jesus christ, you're choosing to be so horrible towards other people in this comment section and those people were actually acting in a neutral way towards you.
And yes, people will assume that you're a child. I'm shocked to see that you have been on here since 2017. I thought that you were a new member. Most readers learn that you can't know everything about a story from chapter 1, pretty early on. A lot of stories actually paint a narative that turns out to be not so true.

I will reciprocate in the attitude perceived.
I really don't understand how you would perceive "dickwad" as a neutral way of coming at me. But hey maybe English wasn't your best subject.
You too, have the option to change your way of thinking. Idk, read of mice and men or something...when things fall apart by Chinua achebe( do just recommend this in general) I am petty by nature and if it comes off as being "horrible" to you. Oh fucking well.
These were my thoughts on how I COULDN'T possibly continue to read this story. I've been here since far longer than 2017 (since onemanga died to be exact or I guess when they removed every chapter they had ....sad times. then there was also mangafox but it was meh compared to onemanga) but does that matter?
All of you are new members to me ....the way to tell everyone apart is by how "sensitive" you are to everything or how privileged the lot of you are concerning releases and quality then complain about it but don't bother to stop reading or mtl the shit yourself, as stated in my comment, I could not get past that 1st chapter so of course my comment will only take into account the events shown ONLY in chapter 1.
Now if you want to be a sensitive ass..., you go for it. I will not tell you how to live your life. Most readers will allow themselves a trial period for books that might interest them. You read the first chapter and if it intrigues you, you continue to the next. Of course you don't know shit by the first chapter. But the first chapter will decide whether you will continue with the second. I tend give an average of 3 chapters a try but again couldn't get past the 1st one.

It may have been the way she was depicted but I really couldn't see any reason to continue onto the next chapter. I am sure it wasn't remotely easy for everyone but she just really irked me. She definitely blamed the kid for not being able to go out as much as she would like, clearly evident from that 1st chapter.
As of right now, I don't see myself continuing on with this story. I have other books I can translate or binge read Chinese novels with 1500+ chapters( some are quite repetitive but there are authors that create miracles) (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ if I have absolutely nothing else to read, I may pick it up again but definitely won't be soon
You have no reason to apologize as your comment truly wasn't that long
This bitch should have died...quickly...but slowly for him(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
