I really am not understanding the mc hate in relation to the ml... maybe because I haven't read it all together in a while but ml is being so rude to mc. With that attitude I'd off myself just to spite him if I'm dead anyway! How bout a little tact and kindness for the person who died on their birthday and now has to be molested and assaulted until they die for real? Such a sad state to be in.

I get the story is that they're reincarnated lovers through the years or something (I'm guessing) so mc will probsbly not die but we dont know that yet!

So what if he saved him from the shaman and the sa if he's just going to be rude and expect sexual favours anyway?

Maybe mc is doing stupid things but he's dead, he's been through so much and is likely depressed and scared, not a state to make good decisions!

I believe this deal is sensible, sure use my body and I'll live a life i couldn't have dreamed of before I die. What's the issue?

Wonder if the gun had blanks in it? Enough to hurt and bleed but not kill. Dunno, just spit balling cus that shot to the ear makes no sense if it was an actual bullet!

Amnesia arc.... yay..... fml

It makes sense, what an abhorrent mother. How could you even leave without taking your child with you. I know logically it happens but how could you do that to your baby. I could never.

As for jerkyung - dude needs therapy. No idea how no one has encouraged him to go. He's a grown ass man with serious issues, get to therapy! Obvs doesn't have the personality for it but geez, perpetual victim, lashing out to keep himself safe before anyone hurts him first.

Is anything he's done forgivable? irl, hell no. As a fixtional almost case study, in to how to be a better person sure! I want to see actual psychotherapy or something in a story like this! To show people.can change and grow if they want to and put the effort in.

Not gonna happen but yeah.. let's see

This is so effed. Not sure why the twink is upset? Aren't they all having sex with each other? Why would it matter? Or is he assuming they've been doing it alone too? Or is he genuinely just upset he wasn't in the middle? I'm unsure.

Just wish ml would come clean now that he always liked him. He was awful to manipulate him so I'd expect nanjo to tell him to shove it, but he clearly likes him in some way so what's to be lost now.

Twink has been shitty to nanjo and about him. what happened here sucks for him but yano, fuck around and find out eh. Karma. He's got a bad personality, won't say I deserved it but what can you expect when you treat people that way and cant just be upfront that you like rough sex?

Anyway, effed.

The real tell is if he changes - if he's honest about his feelings before they blow up, he's learnt. It takes time and practise to be a good communicator in a relationship.

I do find it hilarious that they had that blow up in the middle of class and across campus no misinterpreting their relationship as an onlooker

She's a bit dense overall if she genuinely couldn't tell her was jealous and wanted her. His negging feels very 00s somehow

Avora created a topic of The Hounds of Sisyphus

Urgh, I dont like the hounds... just massive bullies it seems like. I could be wrong but they seem... annoyingly up themselves and I rarely enjoy characters like that, even the bad guys. Predicting power struggles, teach vs hounds for who guwon sides with, shit like that. I also presume teach and guwon will be together in the end. I personally think teach will be more of an issue than guwon but maybe I'm just hoping for something more interesting?

As a grown ass woman I don't find 'quirky violent murder hotties' a fun concept so I really hope that's not what we're going for with the hounds, please please let them not be a cliche

When this is back i might let it marinate, if i can contain myself

Avora created a topic of The Hounds of Sisyphus

Hmm I was convinced it was basic but.... maybe its not!

Did the dad attack Jinwoo? The image of him hitting someone was facing the audience like when he was tending to jinwoo... Why did Jinwoo move from the wall to face down on the floor? Was he trying to get away? Did his dad mistakenly hit him then try to fix it? Was this a memory of a beating? Why was his foot injured as well as his head? Was he doing something where he deserved being hit? Is jinwoo part of the whole maggot thing?

Does guwon killing people not turn them into maggots?? I really wanna know this one... cus then surely killing all the people he has even with his reasons would be creating more problems? Or is there a need for disposal like vampires etc? Have they ever mentioned that?

Im on board with everyone saying Guwon has his strict rules and would follow them. I don't really see why he would step in to save jinwoo unless the father was a maggot, but that's remarkable timing, but also is any of this even real?

Unreliable narrator... it's clever and a good way to write a psychological thriller. Just personally don't find them satisfying as there is no true conclusion - everything could be lies and wrong. Hurts my completionist brain could get to the end and jinwoo is rocking back and forth in a padded room or just wakes up from a dream. That kind of shiz. Reminds me of shutter island, up to interpretation.

Urgh, yeah, re- reading the first couple.of.chapters is so sad now.

Sp9ilefs for the latest chapter below I guess

In the first version of Guwon coming up behind someone and killing them, i think mc's mixed it up with how he got injured in the first place. So the figure is just a shape really and talking about robbing him, but then when he's hit, he's wearing the dads clothes from the later chapter...

The bit in the truck after he's given him water and Guwon says ' someone was thirsty' that's probably the water his dad brought to him... got me so sad...

The bit with Guwon saying 'i almost killed you for.no reason' isn't he killing everyone for no reason? Also, how does this zombie thing work... are the people Guwon kills not coming back? Or is he killing so many to make the problem worse on purpose?

Also had a random theory that Guwon might be connected to the first suicide/zombie occurrence.

So still a shame/hate kink? No development at all? Cool, I'll be back in another 50 chapters

Honestly the entire premise is questionable, she's lying about who she is to most of these people. She's a bit mental and it's pretty scary to consider irl. The safety aspect of going into that guys home and of him letting her in! It's all so far fetched.

It's just reverse harem hentai right? Suspend all disbelief and it's a... fun? Time? I dunno, makes me all uncomfortable but turn your morals off and it's fine I guess

Avora created a topic of Backlight

I know he's a good actor and he loves it, but is it worth your peace and being controlled by your adopted mother? I dunno, people.stay in these awful positions being held to ridiculous standards (I never understand the whole 'you're an idol, no dating or drinking, must be pure and perfect' it's obviously a cultural thing). But it's the same tropes in all these idol/actor stories. Dating, drinking drug scandals, bully at school scandals, that stem from defending themselves against the actual bullies because of gayness. I've lost what my original point was but I would assume he's got enough money and talent to develop a career doing something else? I would so be ditching everything to just be alone with yeongwon.

Avora created a topic of The Hounds of Sisyphus

Like sure decide they can't come with you but he didn't have to kill them.. just leave them there. Honestly I always found him a bit too creepy and this is just making it worse. I realise the Dr could be lying but he did also beat a guy to death... it's quite a level of righteousness to thi k it's OK to murder but not steal meds so long as everyone agreed with you. Insanity and I'm not sure I can enjoy a 'romance' here.. not even that interested in the story as teach is a bit of a wet lettuce and guwon is just creepy. I don't personally care for either of them anymore which makes it hard to be invested. I'm not judging any who are into it and love the story, just adding my thoughts.

To any who say 'don't like don't read' yes, when it gets unbearable to me I will stop - thanks

I always feel so bad for suying. Love the grandpa though, in different circumstances that attitude would be so lovely, but li yu is awful so deserves no kindness from anyone in my opinion.

I've always loved that everyone knows suying is gay and just don't care because he's amazing. It's so refreshing to read uncloseted stories with acceptance.
