Like idkk if the author thought it would be good for plot or drama purposes but like for me their story (the MLs) didn't really need the professor, the plot was there with food insecurity and healing and they could've just went with that plot line without really having a character be there to be a cockblock who didn't really do much
Plus the professor didn't really have any problems at the end so I don't know why he was brought up if he wasn't an antagonist, I don't hate him but he really shouldn't have been added in my opinion, it just made the story uncomfortable to read to be honest
I would've found this story cute and worth a higher rating if not for the professor bit like seriously that made me ao uncomfortable (not just for the age gap but like idkk I can't explain it)

I love how Yeonjo isn't backing off but I feel like he'll stop his revenge like most MCs after hearing of the tragic background the governor has or smth
Now usually I am in the team let the ML suffer for a bit but ya'll I cannot hate the governor like the only thing horrible he did to Yeonjo was kill his family which mind you was an order from the emperor
Hee-ryang is definitely one of the most charismatic MLs I've encountered because I really can't hate him plus he is so hot! Like idk if it's from how the whole story si worded so beautifully but him being academic using mfing deep ass words made me give all blessings to him
Plus compared to most Redflag MLs he wasn't the worst like He did not commit rape or forced Yeonjo as much, although that fucked threesome moment was horrible, compared to the treatment the others had done to Yeonjo it won't be in the top worst things
Plus hee-ryang had stopped and didn't force him again like I swear I am rooting for this couple!!! Rooting for them like how I rooted fro season 3 Seungkyum! From POTN

So in the LN there's going to be multiple endings, there's an end for each character, yes one with his brother too so I don't know where or how or what end will be chosen but I am still and will forever be team kaede because I just love him and his character development
Plus the only other character I would ever vote for will be natushi but even the for me it's still kinda meh, I pray we get the the kaede end though or I believe the artist may follow suit and go for multiple ends to honor the manga
Also there are straight ends with the strong girl and the childhood friend girl but ya know I am still for team kaede because sassy ass cutie deserved it
