its after carlyle ghosts ash that ash realizes his feelings-- towards the end of season 2, around ch 55 but the climax of his feelings realization is ch 57. they reconcile on ch 66, and are officially together by ch 68 & onwards

in the novel, i didn't know if an zhe was absorbing him or just copying him until it said that within a few days an ze was a skeleton
