"Oh he did the same thing with his ex" .... yeah .... cause they were dating !?!?! I mean did you expect him to have never complimented or been affectionate or jealous with his ex they were still dating he still used to like her what exactly is the problem here

Everybody experiences things differently lol. For example, there are some people who are super clingy and possessive and some who are more laid back and some people like me who are aro lol. Everybody has a different way of going about a situation and the MC of the series is a super super beginner to romance in general. (Refer back to chapter 1) so something that seems like common sense to you could be different for someone else.

I feel like Naska really underestimates how much Sasha Rebecca and Arth all care for him yeah Arth is the romantic lead but I really like how much this story places emphasis on platonic/ found family love and relationships and I know everyone wanted them to all get together because Rebecca and Naska are both hurting but I hope that being a family will be enough for them one day friendship and family are not inherently less fulfilling than romantic relationships and I hope they realize that (honestly I think the author is making a point to detail that in the story so I'm not worried) because Sasha cares about all of them a lot and they all care about each other and I'm really glad the author made that clear (from Arth looking after Naska and promising to help Rebecca achieve her dreams to Rebecca's and Naska care for each others emotions etc) they all care for each other a lot one way or another and I think that's beautiful but I also think it's incredibly sad that Naska doesn't think him and Sasha are as close as she thinks they are so I hope that will be rectified soon

I'm glad other people agree because as much as I love poly relationships the family dynamic the four of them have together is genuinely so heart warming like its friends who care about each other supporting one another and even the romance between Arth and Sasha doesn't take priority over that and this is the first time I've seen this in a Mancha usually they make romance out to be the end all be all of relationships and that's nice and all but I hate that other important relationships get thrown to the back burner so this story is really refreshing

Listen liste the Trashta jokes are really funny but realistically I feel A LOT of sympathy for Rashta she was a slave like a whole slave to a terrible master and had the chance to move up and she genuinely fell in love with the Emporer (who is the real piece of trash here honestly) and loves her baby so much and she genuinely just wants to be loved and like what she's doing to Navier is not okay but I also understand that a lot of what she's doing is for the sake of survival and for the sake of her baby and her happiness and the chance to actually be respected as a person and while her hostility to Navier is infuriating especially since girl I know you're naive love sick and desperate but you are a mistress trying to get close to the wife it comes off as insulting and tone deaf regardless of how genuine the desire is I still will always respect someone who for the first time is prioritizing security and happiness after never having that and is striving towards it even with the constant disrespect and trauma but at the same time you are stomping over the life of someone else who really doesn't deserve that so yeah I respect her a bit and sympathize with her a lot but that doesn't make the stuff she's doing okay

Like its not being weak that bothers me weak characters have their place and all things considered I don't expect her to be strong no its that her personality is nothing more than a self sacrificing damsel in distress she is absolutely incapable of doing anything other than screaming and crying like I don't expect her to be brave all the time like damn even if I was in her situation I'd ball my eyes out but eventually you have to start doing something about it she's so passive about everything and her entire life resolves around Aseph like she has no personality other than "loving" him and loving is in quotations because for both Zay and Aseph it's less love and more obsession (also Aseph's refusal to discuss things with her is so annoying) and also her crying all the time isn't even balanced out by anything like she's not a child she's not exactly kind she's incredibly oblivious to every aspect of her surrounding except for Aseph and for him it's only the physical stuff and she's isn't even like quiet and meek she's just boring and and annoying and never does anything this is supposed to be her and Aseph's story but she's not even really a character
that being said I am invested in the lore of this story so I'll still come back but damn is Zay annoying

When you say she has to start doing something what should she do? I understand that most of other royalty manhwa have smart or strong FL who's into political strategy or can fight monster
But elzay is basically just a normal ordinary girl and her magical ability only connected to aseph, like dreaming about aseph's life or healing aseph's wounds once
About her crying, i find that reasonable and not annoying, like the author provide all the reason why she cried a lot especially in season 1 (some reason might need spoiler even though it's already hinted, unfortunately the chapter which gave the hint has broken translation so mangago readers might not understand it), and those reasons are not something minor
About passive, yes she's passive, but she doesn't really have capability to be 'active' or do anything other than saving aseph from his tragic life, if it's about the demon or the emperor, elzay is totally out of the frame despite being the MC, but then again what can she do? All she knows is about saving aseph (i think that's the only goal of her character and she managed to do it, since aseph is supposed to die or being a mass murderer and sell his soul to the devil), the author doesn't give her knowledge about the kingdom or the demon
About less love and more obsession, what did you expect from a soulmate themed story? Soulmate thing is never healthy, the story stated that you get broken and go crazy if you're separated from your soulmate, the very reason why elzay got mental breakdown and kept crying after got sent to korea and had to reject aseph after going back to aseph's world, don't forget how elissa immediately left aseph for alcester in the previous life, that sounds more like obssession than love for me
In short, i don't think you meant elzay is annoying, the annoying thing is more the lack of knowledge/ability and the situation that author put her into, like if you don't want her to be passive and keep crying, how should she do? Stop crying? She basically only cries about the soulmate thing which is unavoidable and about aseph's past which unavoidable too because aseph's past is super tragic and she dreamt about it for a whole freaking year, how could you not scream and cry if you watch how your loved one suffers in detail every single night for a year? If it's about being passive, about what? About aseph? As you know she managed to save him and you can't call her as passive if it's about aseph, if it's about the kingdom or the demon, well unfortunately she can't do anything about it unless the author start to realize that elzay lack role and give her new ability

She doesn't have to stop crying thats not the issue my biggest issue is the author sacrificed Zay actually having a personality for the sake of either reader projection or for the sake of Aseph and Zay's love and also at some point if life throws you curve balls you've gotta start taking some sort of initiative Zay hasn't even bothered to ask Aseph or anyone else what's going on even though it puts her and everyone else in danger the one time she decided to take initiative for something was meeting Aseph pr trying to find that diary for clues which never even panned out because she got to wrapped up in teaching him despite the fact that their lives are endanger thats an issue the entirety of her life revolves around Aseph she doesn't think about anything but him and that doesn't make her a character that makes her a cardboard cut-out for the author to project their version of a fulfilling and obessessive love Zay is not a person in these stories hee sister, the prince, Aseph and even her father and the king have more personality than she does and she's supposed to be the main character and as for being passive it's not an issue when there's literally nothing she could do but there are plenty of little things she could have done at this point she's a noble from an important family with a wealth of information at her disposal in the form of the three men around her who actually have a clue what's going on she has her she has that fuckung diary which she didn't even look in to again she had a conversation with God and she never even bothered to tell anyone about what they said or look in to any of the stuff about the fucking demon that's out for Aseph's soulor even bother to mention that there's a demon vying for his soul or even mention what would have happened in the previous had she not stepped in hell she hasn't even bothered to fucking ask Ase0h "hey what exactly are you planning" instead she just lets it happen this isn't about her crying or about her not being the smartest or the bravest or being a good fighter or anything this is about being completely unwilling to take any sort of action or tell anyone anything this is about her being a sorry excuse for a character who I could replace with a fucking lamp and the story wouldn't change she can cry if she wants to Aseph can be ridiculously important to her but at some point she needs to do something other than just that even people in the shittiest situations do what they can to protect themselves and she doesn't even do that
Also none of the things I listed would be an issue if she was called out for her naivety or if this was some sort of character arc for her but no it's not she just is this which is another reason she's not really a character she never actually grows or changes
Also her sister has a soul mate pair which isn't obsessive and controlling her sister expresses more autonomy than she ever did so you can't site the existence of soulmates for the reason behind Aseph's and Zays's obsessions
I really like the idea of just marrying someone to get people off your back and to just have someone around like I know this isn't true but I'm going to headcannon Ritsu as aromantic no one can stop me I can't decide between aromantic and gray/demiromantic though
I believe he is demi
İ dont think he is aromantik he is just probably not that interested in having a lover or demi and thats it
