Normally i love when the story switches to the love interest's pov and we get to see what was going on in their head the whole time, but our beloved Jigu has been such an open book this whole time that spending multiple chapters on his pov felt a bit redundant... not counting the dirty dream tho, that was all new content ;)
Personally i think itd be more reassuring if glunn was like "im not taking you just because i wanna f you, im taking you bc youre the best alchemist ive ever seen and i need your help to break this curse. Me taking u out of country is in no way dependant on you reciprocating my feelings."
It seems more likely for a noble's feelings to change than ennid to just lose all his skills.
So apparently there can only be one of either gender in this household, the duke cant possibly love 2 sons and 2 daughters at the same time? it still feels like he's playing favorites rather than just assuring his existing daughter that he'll still love her regardless. He's treating new bio daughter like she's encroaching on his favorite daughter's territory (she *is* doing that but he doesnt know that). So its just a weird vibe overall.
Also, does ravi just not have any daddy issues anymore???? Like in his other lifetimes he was so angry with his dad's bullshit that he tried to murder his brother, but now all his parental neglect is solved by just a bit of sisterly affection? And he's not at all jealous that his dad is now favoring her too (leaving Ravi as the *only* sibling who gets no attention). Like i keep expecting FL to either pressure their father to spend more time with ravi and fix their relationship OR to bring ravi in on the exit plan. So that even if they do have to leave the duke's household, they'll still be respectably well off with her mine and ravi's career as a magician.
And ps, are the two step siblings even legally his stepchildren at this point? His first wife was still alive when he married their mother, so if this world has bigamy laws then his second marriage would be legally invalid.
perhaps ravi did not really have daddy issues, more like he just wants some acknowledgement that he exist, that he's needed, and someone cares for him
as for the marriage she was legally declared dead already, and if she was still alive, she'll have to reprocess her identity documents perhaps, but well she's really dead now anyway

everytime i see someone say "they have such a small face" in a manga:
( °-° )
It's a really common compliment in most of East Asia. "얼굴이 작아요" (Your face is small) is like "Your face is well proportioned/your face isn't square/you are cute." Is best to translate. I'm sure it's the same for the Japanese.
Also sorry random info-dump lol. I agree, it's such a funny thing to say out of context, especially in English.
