I personally don't see this as Ash's way of communicating through sex cause if it was then this story wouldn't reach as far as it has. They communicated VERY WELL throughout most of the story. Compared to most Bl's ESPECIALLY omegaverse. Lyle is a character that would rather keep his worries to himself rather than communicate and Ash knows that. I feel like he just used the excuse that Lyle broke his promise not to drink and is keeping a secret to try kinky sex on Lyle who is very conservative might I add. This story isn't ruined for me I still like the author period.
