I have personally loved vulnerablility and story arcs of all the characters even if we don't have answer to all aspect of past or future. I think it stays true to how artist been going about the story. There also have been purely loving and even funny moments in main plot so it's not like it's entirely lacking that.
I mean it's sucks to have cliche narrative of the intimacy build on SA and shit but are you really surprised that this is another yaoi with alot of non consensual shit put on uke after he finds himself at mercy of seme kinda situation?
