A family member (my great grandparent's sister) who was in her 80's at the time told me they left their retirement home right after moving in because it was like a giant annoying brothel for freaky old people with std's, and they kept getting harrased by old men. So they moved out and got a apartment instead, cause they wanted a relaxing retirement and not all of that shit. But that's also why me grandma doesn't want to live in retirement homes or communities.
Because they have little time left, I guess they are like unrestrained and just wanna do whatever they want to, even throwing caution to the wind.
