looks like there’s quite a few changes from the novel. i looked at some novel spoilers a few months ago and learned that this scene, the emperor was supposed to be about to SA laria, and nocturne would appear and stab him.
Wait wait wait, he was? That would explain the tension that you see in the illustration. So, he was about to do that? Wow. Why is it always the default for a villain to try to essay the hero, whenever the hero is a girl. I tried to say heroin but it keeps sounding off or spell checking back to heroin. The drug I guess? Instead of heroin the hero? Anyway that's something I have to do with on my phone. But seriously? Can you give a little bit more detail on what happened? Because oh my God I did not know! Is there a way you can add like an excerpt? Because that is so weird of what's happening in the comic and it doesn't really make sense but sort of does?
i do like that cass is the true ML, considering he only knows her as this ariel, and not the previous one… but i feel like diego would be SUCH a more interesting choice!!!

it’s really a shame that the artist didn’t make tasha darker. in the novel, the dark elves skin tone is compared to obsidian. makes me think that alberu won’t have much of a skin tone difference when his true appearance is revealed.

the reason why they don’t use “beta” is because they are simply non awakened for their second gender. all awakeners are either alphas or omegas, and the populace that are normal humans would be considered betas.

right now it matches the novel—this most recent manhwa chapter being around the novels ch 20. but i’m sure pace will pick up, as the novel goes a lot in depth with descriptions and with yuder’s thoughts. from what i’ve seen in the artists twitter, they’re around the novels ch 40 for the manhwa chapter 27.

i was hoping (despite the cover art) this would be a story with abel, the duke or knight as the ml, and the prince as their surrogate child. i think that would be a nicer storyline than what i looked up and found it actually was.
