LMAO laila knowing exactly how to monopolize arsian is so funny
honestly. how many shirts has hyj had ripped off his body at this point
i really like how the other women who were competing to be empress don’t hate asha. there’s no romance or “girl” drama, and they don’t try to bully one another
poor killian. the father being the very last to find out his wife is pregnant
i know it’s a translation error, but calling her “mama” is so cute. like a nickname
i love how she’s an absolute menace. downright diabolical—shamelessly and proudly
is it just me who dislikes it when there’s a single scene where someone summarizes everything and why it happened and the reasoning for the plot? it feels clunky to me. i enjoy this manhwa but ive noticed many manhwa do this “moment of realization” to explain what happened and it just feels… overbearing. though, i have no clue if they did the same thing in the novel.
the way he’s just fully, unadulteratedly, in love with her
i do feel quite bad for lina. although her actions in the beginning were her own, she’s now being completely manipulated by whatever the black smoke is. it’s easy to see how everything is spiraling downward for her when these thoughts are being forced into her head as if they’re her own and being goaded into her current actions. seria seems to understand that there is an outside force, but no one else would be able to know. lina is going to go down a path that she will not be able to come back from, regardless of who or what is leading her.
i was hoping (despite the cover art) this would be a story with abel, the duke or knight as the ml, and the prince as their surrogate child. i think that would be a nicer storyline than what i looked up and found it actually was.
looks like there’s quite a few changes from the novel. i looked at some novel spoilers a few months ago and learned that this scene, the emperor was supposed to be about to SA laria, and nocturne would appear and stab him.
i do like that cass is the true ML, considering he only knows her as this ariel, and not the previous one… but i feel like diego would be SUCH a more interesting choice!!!
it’s really a shame that the artist didn’t make tasha darker. in the novel, the dark elves skin tone is compared to obsidian. makes me think that alberu won’t have much of a skin tone difference when his true appearance is revealed.
wish they kept arkana’s look… short hair and a monocle just doesn’t look as good on him as the other
never have i ever read something that made me so giggly got me kicking my feet and everything
the reason why they don’t use “beta” is because they are simply non awakened for their second gender. all awakeners are either alphas or omegas, and the populace that are normal humans would be considered betas.
i really can’t wait for pethuamet and the scenes with kishiar that come afterward. it’s going to take such a long time for the manhwa to get to that point, but i’m excited nonetheless
from the unofficial translation, chapter 8—“Kishiar divided the huge group called the Cavalry into three smaller groups. The Shin Division gathered those who focused on physical abilities, the Sul Division gathered those with magic-like abilities like Yuder, and the Jung Division gathered everyone else.
”
so in this translation, divine means to be the shin division, and mystic is sul
