“for a demon world book the intensity is rather low” did she just find a smut book T-T
mildred getting physically violent to protect her children is my absolute favorite thing
i love seeing camilla slowly getting more compassionate and attached to the ghosts. they started off as bothersome to her but now she truly has started to cherish them and bond with them, enough to rely on them and give them kindness
the way the interrogation scene was played out… was really not well done. yeah, she’s under a truth serum but her going crazy from it and confessing everything is a bit cringey. wouldn’t it make more sense for a spy to try to hold the truth as much as they can? it would’ve made more sense if she tried to invoke leo’s sympathy, and have it gradually turn into her being angry and yelling because she can’t control what she’s saying.
the chapters have become a little disappointing in writing quality, but i’m not sure if the manhwa uses everything from the novel. but it really becomes cringey in moments like this
does anyone else think it’s kinda weird that no one acknowledged the fact that his dad was dragging him as a child to the rakshasa? i get that the gluttony rakshasa is different and that’s what they focused on but they all saw the others trauma and acknowledged it. i feel like seeing a child being dragged towards a rakshasa by his father is much more of a disturbing scene that everyone else’s. i do wish we got to see the full scene though, and not just a tiny bit before it melted away
you know what? i wouldn’t mind there being a poly relationship with han maru, kang chana, and seonwoo eden. even if it was just maru and chana i don’t think i would mind that much either. them all being close seems to be a natural progression than random or forced. it seems like they’re the typical “2 boys 1 girl” trio a lot of media has anyways, so they’ll be close with each other regardless
is it just me or are the divine animals really ugly ╥﹏╥
i love it when male characters are afraid/upset when the fl is mad at them. it’s almost never stemming from abuse or genuine fear, but from the fact that in itself that they made their partner upset and want to reconcile. doing things like groveling, and putting their pride aside in the name of forgiveness, shows that they genuinely care about their partners feelings in some form. although, iris is right in wanting him to understand what his mistake was in the first place, rather than beg forgiveness. forgiveness is pointless is you don’t know the reason in the first place.
i can’t tell if it’s just the artistic model of him changing, but doesnt it look like his teeth are getting sharper/more prominent as the story progresses?
i really REALLY love the way that there was a literal system rigged against edith. that everyone had an actual voice in their head telling them how to feel about her, and how minor characters weren’t as effected as the main ones. how killeon looked into sorcery and witchcraft to find an answer to WHY and HOW his mind was being controlled like that.
its a lot different from the usual “everyone hates me no matter what bc im the villainess” where when the character tries to do good things or push people away, EVERYONE thinks they’re faking it or trying to get attention. especially when they continuously refuse to acknowledge their intentions.
this gives such a valid reason to why people have nonstop negative thoughts about edith. about how as the system loosens it’s control as edith continues to pass the trials and the way the characters start to realize they don’t actually hate her, and pay more attention to their surroundings

does anyone know how the cassette tapes exactly work? like, i understand they work as “save points” and that whoever enters one will then be part of the game, but why do they save repeatedly when they still retain their memories? it’s not like it instantly gives them access to the items they find either
i love how she actually looks like a man. not like the other manhwas where the fl pretends to be a man but is still half the size of everyone else
i wish they kept the glasses :( she looked so cute with them
i love how unashamed they are with intimacy. like i understand these are historical manhwas, and PDA is kind of taboo especially with all that chasity stuff, but it sometimes gets annoying when all characters do is blush when they brush hands. but i also love how they’re intimate without actually going all the way… like them kissing and ML ending up just hand feeding her or massaging her feet
camilla being so chill and rational is one of my favorite things about her
look. i really like this story. i really like the art and the characters… but what on earth is going on with this plot
