rereading thisā¦ and man, does it make me so happy that calix has taken Shadow Roselyn as his sister as well. she may not be the roselyn he had grown with, but she is his sister all the same. it really subverts the troupe when an antagonist of a story is āwearing the skinā of a character, and when itās revealed everyone suddenly turns against them. sure, sheās not evil/an antagonist but she is also āwearing the skinā of the original rosalyn. i am glad they didnāt turn their backs on her, and instead embraced her as her own person rather than the person who she inhabits.
this plot is so confusing. i wish there was a novel version to readā¦
theyāre all so messy. like claude is acting so shady, even with the context the readers know about him. the stepbrother, even if he has good intentions and deliberately takes a step backā¦ itās always so weird/gross for stepsiblings to be into each other. i really like leonard though, didnāt expect to be such a big fan of him. just the casual skinship and intimacy thatās not romantic or sexual? absolutely love that. although heās a litter overbearing imo
maybe itās because iām aroaceā¦ but genuinely i cannot understand doing all that for a MAN. like money and power? alright i get that. but a MAN?????
what i wouldnāt do to have the ātwistā that theyāre NOT royalty. itās always being a high ranking noble/royals child. why canāt it for once be likeā¦ the kings best friend. or a famous knights daughter. i get the plot of putting them in a high power position suddenlyā¦ but its so common that even a few of the comments here had already predicted a connection with the human king.

soā¦ basically the king was the one who was telling han maru ācome backā in the beginning chapters? because we saw the eye inside the rakshasa he was fighting. which led to a bunch of rakshasas leaving to ābring himā. but when the king followed him, he only got actively aggressive when he saw the director. would that mean that the gluttony rakshasa hadnāt left/defected like the directors rakshasa?
does this mean that han maru is technically one of the 8 rakshasas? if he truly ate the gluttony rakshasa, does that mean not only did he gain the abilities but also took its place as one of the 8? or is it hiding inside him kinda like how true director is (since he had that hallucination earlier where he saw the gluttony rakshasa while talking to chana).

started and binged all the episodes. i find it extremely disappointing that ainz was completely discarded for calix as a male lead (story wise). imo ainz would be a lot more healthy of a ml, but he the narrative pushed him away to being like āi just want her to be happyā so quickly and then he disappeared.
not to mention, the mark on ainz from healing him has just narratively disappeared? i feel like that should be more important than other thingsā¦ like trying to figure out why the mark appeared and was shaped like that when no one else has anything similar.

iām rereading the manhwa and man. i absolutely love seeing how alliette ages. sheās not drawn as tiny her entire lifeā¦ you can see her in the small time skips as she loses the baby fat in her face and matures. she LOOKS like an actual adult.
