Why not just use "-ssi"?
this is the thing, i feel like much get lost in translations because "mr." is not really the same as "-ssi" even though they are ofc similar, but often i find translations losing these cultural contexts (like hyung becomes brother which is not always the case) and it's sad :( the translation itself is so good, but i wish they'd keep these culturally appropriate terms intact. yk, in the raws they actually use "-ssi", so like yeah

why is he still calling him "Mr."??? The official translators need to up their game. We as reader understand at least some korean honorifics perfectly. It wouldn't kill them to just use those honorifics instead of this "Mr." thing.

The issue is what kinda formal? In English the "Mr." sounds very distant ya'know. Especially when Mr. Kwon does it. I wanna know how they're calling each other. Is it "-ssi or -nim" that they're using. It's the little things that ehance the story more for the people who aren't so fluent in "Hangeul"
They use 습니다 for each other which is the highest formality in korean. Not 요 which is what youre talking about. Hence why Im also confused that they speak so formally when they fuck like animals

I belive the translators were capable enough to just use their mandarin names. Because as a frequent manhua reader reading "Xiao" as "Lil" physically bothers me every single time. And Wu Zu calling Su Zhen "Sis" is also bothering cause in their culture you don't mean "Sister" when you call them "Jie". And their names too. They needn't translate their names or titles to English. Could've just explained once and left it at that.
