I've just been reading this manga and I'm quite pissed off with most of the characters especially Ayase. I guess I liked the plot at least but Ayase...(╯°Д °)╯╧╧God!!. He's so much of an annoying goody two shoes and he always gets in trouble and he believes in people too much. Nah, Ayase just needs to know how to stand up for himself. Not everyone will come to save him at the moment someone attempted to rape him. The time when I read the manga, Ayase does not even try to change his attitude and moreover, he is very dependent on Kanou even though he does not realise this fact.
Kanou is very forceful and he is somewhat self centered. Despite that, he treasures Ayase very much which Ayase is very ungrateful of and I couldn't really remember when Ayase have truly thanked Kanou though I might be wrong. He always rescues him and have you noticed how Ayase has never really gotten rape by other people except Kanou himself.
There is also a reason why I included the Finder characters here. Unlike Ayase, Akihito stands up for himself despite getting attempted rape all the time and he even have really been raped in the Finder series. Akihito truly believes in Asami and he takes action like when he decided to shoot an opponent without Asami telling him to do so. It is because Akihito knows how to protect himself and what Ayase lacks is the understanding of the fact that if you cannot protect yourself, don't try to protect others because that will only cause more troubles that will endanger people more and he also lacks the ability to think rationally.
