It's sad, but it means they had 30 years together, right?
That's lovely.
But my damn brain is like, what did he die of? Was he exposed to something as a doctor?
Oh and the mention of 'lover'. Why lover and not husband? You can get married in Germany and I would think they would get hitched.
More like 20. I mean, they had a long separation before they moved in together when t hey hardly saw each other. If he's 70, and Tomohisa died 20 years before, he was 50 when Tomohisa died, so Tomohisa was younger than 50 when he died. Maybe 20 years together (ie, not long-distance waiting for each other).
So sad. I would have preferred an ending where they are very old men sitting together and still being happy. WHY???? Why break my heart?????
If together means in love, then yeah, about 30. If together means TOGEHTER--they lived in the same city or apt and saw each other every day instead of once or twice a year, then it's not 30. I don't count the long-distance. That was torture for them being apart. They did it out of love, but they weren't seeing each other frequently in those apart years. I've been with my guy more than 30 years. It goes by fast. And now Hideo's been alone 20 years. That's tragic to me. Makes me so sad.
Was this one of those 'if I sleep with him and get him out of my system I can move on' things? Because it's starting to feel that way.
I bet he's going to chase after Hotaka and he's going to find out the dating thing was a ruse.
Btw...was he really being groped on the train or did he pertend to be in order to seduce him? I'm leaning to the latter...
but someones hand was obviously feeling him up so he wasn't pretending ... -_-
mmm I think the uke's scared that it was a one night stand and was going to have his heart broken for a second time, so he ran away... but he'll come around eventually.
I re-read that scene several times and all we see is Hotaka pushing up against his senpai and flushing. We don't see anyone behind him or anything but we do see it's a crowded train car. Then once senpai gets the idea he might be getting sexually assaulted we see that scene of Hotaka being touched and him thinking about it and then he moves Hotaka and asks about why he didn't say anything.
And considering what Hotaka has done before in his ruses to bed his senpai I wouldn't put it above him to fake an incident to get his senpai.
I bet the next chapter picks up from this scene and Shingo just bursts out crying again or turns into a cat.
He's so depressed here. He's really grieving the loss of the relationship. He reached out to Kagami but it was too late for such a simple action. He needs to show Kagami he cares and talk about everything.
Kagami doesn't think Shingo will ever do it so he's waiting but not waiting for Shingo. I think he still has hope but it's low on the list.
His concern mainly seems to be Shingo's mental state since he asked Rio to be there for Shingo and tell him he is loved. It's a simpler easier form of love that Shingo can accept instead of the more profound love of Kagami's which is more risky for Shingo to accept because it's a give & take and he has to open himself up but he won't.
So, in essence it's all about Shingo and if he chooses to make the big romantic declaration to get his man back. Because Kagami will take him back, but only if Shingo makes it plain how he feels.

I KNEW IT!
They have another chance. Battle of the Trash Heap is still a go.
Let's go NEKOMA!!!
