Huh...Shingo's the one who ruined things.
Kagami was actually trying to repair what went wrong and Shingo was just done. He's hiding and running from insecurities and he would rather break up then be broken up on...
I don't...understand this. Shingo what do you actually want?
I don't see the point in brushing past one characters flaws to point out another's. It can go without saying, and pretty redundant since no one is perfect. If you take into account how important smell is, it makes Shingo seem like he doesn't want a relationship. He could have done some self assessment to try and figure out why the smell disappeared or what happened, just open up with inquiries between Kagami and him, but he didn't. That is where this couple fails everytime. They do not communicate.
This chapter revealed that scent being lost is not the fault of the person emitting it, but the one that smells it which is why Shingo and Kagami really need to talk. Having trust issues doesn't give you a free pass to runaway. You have to confront something at some point otherwise you won't grow as a person. Shingo needs to push himself to be more open or else we'll be in this same situation again. Kagami can never help because there is no communication. They could have sorted this out during pillow talk. Lol
I believe Makio when he says he didn't do it.
I also think that rescuer is shady af. I am almost convinced he's the one who attacked Wachi.
I wonder if Makio knows more than he's letting on but he's truthful in that he didn't do it. I'm also curious about what Makio meant when he said soon Wachi will know him better. It sounds like he's tying up loose ends on the criminal side of things.
He also sounds genuinely jealousy.
I the way my brain works I recognize patterns pretty easily and as a writer and prolific reader I tend to pick up on the commonly used tropes and thematic storytelling.
Thematically we are headed for conflict due to Makio's past interfering in his present. A resolution will appear which brings things into alignment but the conflict has to happen first and for that he must suffer the consequences of ill choices. Like not trusting Wachi or being honest about his feelings.
In Hannibal terms: He's in for a reckoning.
Why is the first thought 'I don't want to leave you so I'm turning it down' or 'let's break up' and not 'let's go together'?
Germany has a same sex marriage. They would have more rights! Yes, the seme might be a house-husband for a while, but whose to say that won't work out?
You freaking idiots! Just leave Japan and go together!
So now he and Nine are being hunted down. And no one thinks Jaihi could have possibly been kidnapped or bespelled by Nine.
And now Jaihi found Cecil who seems interesting but is probably a TRAP, in some way. Nine shows back up again and both of them seem to be giving off the jealousy vibes.
Has Nine been clearing the floors off for Jaihi? So Sweet. I also think that rag bandages will be important. I hope he keeps making new ones from banshee cloth.
No, no no.
I want happy endings not these bittersweet endings. I know it's better to love and lost than to have never loved at all. But this HURTS!
Alfred Lord Tennyson http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-12666869
He wrote it as part of a poem In Memoriam A.H.H. about his friend who died suddenly. It took him 17 years to write it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Memoriam_A.H.H.
I wonder if they were just friends.
Okay, the bit with the scissors freaked me out but it was just a power play.
Plus it seems seme has found boundaries. Uke wanted to be bleed and he refused. Good.
Not to say there is anything wrong with bloodplay...but these idiots don't know what they are doing and I'm afraid it will get out of hand. Not to mention infection issues.
It's starting to feel like they are falling in love with each other. Which I like.

Holy shit. Mephistopheles was PISSED when he saw Shi-hoon dead and has calmed down a bit now that he's back alive. But he wants to go in there and rip that bastard apart.
