Yohan is such a dramatic little bitch. I’m not talking about his middle school days, bullied child syndrome is understandable, I’m talking about his need to form an entire organization and call himself god when in actuality he’s just a selfish little bitch. How extra. Also gonna be pissed if euntae is not the endgame ml

First: Nocton Is like, the tsundere-turned-yandere ml I’ve been hoping for in one of these stories. Durua seems less scared of nocton and more just emotionally drained by his tsundere ass. when she cared about him, he lied to her or assumed she was under a spell and didn’t need to say anything to get her to produce the behavior he desired, but now that she’s finally sided with people other than him, he realizes she may not be under his spell and wants to take the opportunity to be with her but is still afraid of calling her by name and casting a spell on her. She’s not dumb, she just legitimately misunderstands him because he was being a sketchy tsundere and is tried of his bs and is slightly afraid he is trying to kill her friends.

The novel is moving really fast where the author is trying really hard to quickly turn Max into a "strong fl" with very short arcs of "character development." To me, it feels really unbelievable and makes Max's character/values a bit blurry. Like, I think the author is trying to show character development, but instead, it just feels like they're showing Max acting out of character?
Also, Ruth is definitely not being portrayed in the novel as a secondary ML, yet Max spends a ton of time with him? Ruth is becoming sort of like a rough-mouthed fairy godmother who is helping to develop Max's character but like, it feels weird for Max to be 'developing' as a character in the absence of Riftan through a "fairy-godmother" character when Riftan exists? Especially when Riftan and Max's relationship/backstory is so unclear at the moment.
The plot still makes sense but like, the characters seem kinda 2d because their motivations aren't clear or are quickly changing from how they were originally portrayed...Like, Max doesn't feel like a character who has developed as much as she feels like a character who was swapped out with a different one and given the same name?
Anyway, I really hope this get picked up by an official translation site if this get's dropped because I feel like, often times, the webtoon kinda smooths out any rushed story telling in the novel...
And Mia is legit just a super poorly written and annoying character? Is she like, the original Lena? She was clearly of drinking age when she died, but wow I keep forgetting because she acts like she’s 12....no wonder her other bf dumped her..does she get better or is this just her? Like Lena is written well, Paul and Shiba are written well, why is Mia purposefully written so poorly?
I'm on chapter 66 in kakaopage, mia is likable now, she still has her childish trait, but she changes a lot
