This guy offers therapy on the side but is really just using it as an excuse to hit on the uke and push him to do things wayyyy beyond what would be seen as acceptable in the name of treatment and like, coercing the uke to be dependent on him. This is like, some Hannibal-Will Graham level shit

No, it wasn't. Weren"t you reading the story? It wasn't because he wanted to touch the uke it was because he wanted to help someone with mysophobia. He just fell in love with the uke in the process. Seme went to far by putting his face near him and felt guilty, after finding the uke said he was doing well. He decided to back off, thinking that was the end of it. However the uke went to him.

I'm adopted. It's not about raising a family its about raising a "legitimate line." Back then, even blood-related bastards to a male family head weren't considered "legitimate kids" so its not like they're looking down on adoption. I think their love will persist though, Al doesn't look like he's about to give up his precious wifey over this.

I really appreciated the lack of romantic pressure in this and, although the build up/connection wasn't strong of harped on, the idea that there are different types of love in this world and the implicit non-romantic love she she has with Mr Eun were all great themes. I would definitely have added "psychological" as a genre though besides drama. This was pretty intense for the story being told.
I like that assholes get what’s coming to them and the mother-in-law turned out to be reasonable but like, why does the couple not just talk like? This entire situation could have been avoided by better communication and not treating each other so delicately like, both before and now lack of communication was their issue and there has been 0 character progression? The FL was never weak, they legit just don’t talk and still don’t wtf
