He is starting to come back by the efforts of the high energy miss Kohaku and everyone around her who is trying to help him accept that being yourself isn't necessarily fitting in to the mold and is not a bad thing to be unique. All the while his friend group has been looking for him and trying to reunite and get clarity on why things ended the way they did.
