Also can't main characters be fun nowadays why do you all want them to be cunning and smart, cant women be stupid and cringe, and loser coded sometimes she's such a fun character and the ml is nice from the get go lol
It's refreshing to see an mc who just does what she can with what she has and knows rather than being obsessive about the future + in my opinion her charm that gets me is her sincerity! She's being really genuine and true to herself (like an actual, average person + fresh graduate LOL)
I hope they get more fleshed out in future chapters!

Exactly! You get it! She doesn't know the entire events of the story play-by-play (which is very realistic actually LOL) and it adds the fun in it! Plus she may look like a fool for not doubting the og fl's words but in her defense, that's the og fl she read about and the comments were more or less plausible since cedric and her aren't that close+ i love how they actually communicated their thoughts! It's a great outcome!
I think it would only get tiring if mc doesn't learn from it and keeps falling for it in the future but we won't know until we get more chapters, so everyone should take it easy and enjoy! (Plus, with the tone of the story, I don't think it's meant to be dark—it's meant to be fun, entertaining, and a feel good story!)
Totally agree with you!!! This was a fun read. It's so camp and Goofy. The villainess genre is completely saturated with drama and scheming so its really refreshing to read something that's not that deep.

Looking forward to this! I love how each characters' motivation and thoughts are being explored! I was afraid it will be a harem but I'm so glad it doesn't look like that's the case! I'm enjoying the girls' personalities as much as the MC! I hope this doesn't disappoint, the direction it's going is really intriguing!
