Honestly, I could tell from the start that the ML didn’t really love the FL. He just gave off those vibes, you know? The FL is actually really interesting—she’s this mix of good and bad. If she didn’t crave her dad’s approval so much or try to fill that emptiness inside her, her life would've been so much better. But I get it—she grew up without love, so it makes sense why she turned out that way.
Still, she rushed into things with the ML way too fast. Sleeping with him on the second or third date? Wild. And while I understand his hatred toward her dad, he didn’t need to drag her into his revenge. She was innocent. Yeah, she was a little naive like not working until her twenties or not knowing much about the real world but that wasn’t her fault. She was raised like a doll, just meant to be married off.
She didn’t deserve what he did to her, and honestly, I hope she doesn’t forgive him or fall back in love. But knowing how twisted their relationship is, she probably will because as messed up as it was, he made her feel alive in a way nothing else did. Still, I can’t stand the ML. I don’t care

You're right from the beginning he was sus. I like how the FL is written she is very human, at least that's how I feel. I also grew up with a dad who wished he'd had a son instead and I was very isolated and lonely. In my early 20s I was like the FL a lot so I really connect with her and would probably have also rushed things and ignored my intuition to marry someone who kept professing their love to me.
I really hope this story doesn't end with her forgiving and remarrying the ML or marrying anyone. I hope she develops a strong sense of self and personal drive and creates something beautiful for herself. In the beginning she did say she always wanted to achieve something on her own and I really hope she does that, not for revenge but for herself.

First off, I think she forgave the family way too quickly. Yes, they were grieving losing both a wife and a mother is heartbreaking but that doesn’t excuse the complete neglect of their daughter. Their grief doesn’t erase the fact that their lack of care and attention led to her being physically and mentally abused under their own roof. They never checked on her, never noticed her suffering, and that silence allowed the abuse to continue for years.
Even if they later realized their mistakes, where was the accountability? Why didn’t they ever write to her, apologize, or try to visit? She died thinking her own family hated her. She passed away with that pain still in her heart and that’s absolutely devastating. I mean I guess I understand the brother he was a child but the father doesn’t get a pass he was an adult.
Now for the male lead honestly, it’s just weird. She’s 16. And this man who’s clearly in his mid to late 20s is not only romantically interested in her, but literally proposing marriage and asking her to be his queen. He doesn’t even know she’s age regressed or is mentally older. From his perspective, she’s just a teenager. It’s giving serious predatory vibes. Like damn ant least wait till she’s 20 or something but nah she’s 16 and I get it, it’s fictional and its timeline is different than ours but it’s still ughh Yk.(づ￣ ³￣)づ

I honestly hate the brother so much. He knew exactly what their father was doing he saw it happening and still acted like he didn’t. All he ever did was give her scar cream? Like seriously? Even if she wasn’t your blood sister, how can you just stand there and ignore the fact that she’s getting beat every single day? That’s disgusting.
What makes it worse is that he’s basically just like their father just without the hitting. He grew up with the FL, she treated him like family, and all he can think about is how they’re not related by blood. Like that somehow justifies the abuse or makes it less real for him. As long as he’s not getting hit, and his sister isn’t either, then it’s not his problem, right? That mindset is so selfish and cold. I really hope it’s not one of those plots where the older brother secretly resents the FL just because she looks like their father and who acts like a nice guy but is a snake. Like, he might feel jealous or bitter because she has something he never did a resemblance that made her feel more accepted or loved. Maybe he grew up differently or felt left out because he didn’t look like their dad, and now he lowkey holds that against her. I mean, I know he’ll probably warm up to her later (they always do), but I really hope that’s not the case. It’d be so much nicer if he was just kind and supportive from the start, without any hidden resentment or emotional baggage attached to her existence, y’know?
