I feel dissatifed by the "ending" like: "all of this for that ?". It feel like something is missing.
I'm a bit disappointed by the ending, maybe be if it was shorter It would not have bother me I dont know.
But I really liked it at the beginning.

He is acting weird since the annoncuement of the pregnancy, I hope that he won't die or something like that. Like he can reproduce once and then die, or get killed by the others.

I don’t think Curtis would have allowed her to get pregnant with his child if she was going to die due to the process. He stated in earlier chapters he didn’t even mind if they had kids at all, he just wanted to be with her. I think the reason he wants her having his children so soon is because it cements his position with her and I think he wants to be the first to have children with her and since a certain cat is rushing the process (lol) they had to get it done.
yeah it's something like that...he said he wanted her to have his babies because he thinks a woman will love the father of her children, so it IS to cement his position by her side

I am not sure that language is the issue here.
I think the ending is made in a way in which you can't be sure if everything about him turning into a cat was a dream or if the ending is a dream and you don't know what will happen when he wakes up.
In my opinion they are going to have a happy ending, but given the whole feeling of the story it couldn't be shown, cause it would break the storyline. The friend has a boyfriend who is dying and can't be saved, and the guy who chases after him (the one with glasses) won't ever fulfill his love. The other friend (the rich piano boy) won't be able to obtain his parents' love. The veterinarian is also stuck in an unrequited love... adding a happy ending wouldn't fit.
But the title says "somewhere in time", that may be a way of telling us that "somewhere in time they are going to meet and be happy together", but it is left to our imagination.
I though it was just lost mumbo jumbo at the end but this brought it into perspective damn now I gotta go cry or sum
