Because if he had the brain cells to remember his family in the first 15 chapters then we'd already have the climax of the story leading to him accepting his new life yada yada and that wouldn't be good
Uhhh first he was confused then he wanted to go home but then Caius asked him to give him one month to try to woo him into staying. So Kouichi stayed in that world for several days because of that deal then the fruit incident occurred.

It's most likely because of the combination of shock and awe to all the different stimulus he was presented has greatly distracted him from stuff e.g. the unusual creatures such as Titans and his "poisoning" with the Raisa fruit, or was it the Carina.

Seems like there's been a time skip. It's already winter and it's snowing. The first scene is with Seungho's brother who seems to be visiting his father. His father is shown in a room and seems to be fuming, looking at one of Nakyum's erotic paintings of Suengho.
Next is Seungho and Inhun sitting in a room discussing Inhu's departure. Inhun asks Seungho to run for office but Suengho says it's not for me and those old bearded men make me uncomfortable and idk what else they say. inhun thanks Suengho for his hospitality and while leaving, Suengho asks him "aren't you saying goodbye to Nakyum?" to which Inhun replies "is it neccesary?". While on his way Inhun suddenly realises that Seungho seems...to care about Nakyum? and suddenly thinks. "Nakyum is still useful!" with glee but then the servant advices him that they should leave before snow piles up. Nakyum goes outside to bid his teacher goodbye with the painting in his hand but the old servant tells him Inhun had already left. He things Inhun would probably not like the painting anyways and gives the painting to servant and tells him to throw it away. Then we see Nakyum going back to Suengho who was watching him.
Suddenly we see that man (assassin) that was hired watching over Nakyum! And that's the end of season 1 people! Seems like the author is gonna take a mini break.
Now my thoughts. Someone below commented that they're done with comments hating and cursing on Inhun. And I kinda agree. Without Inhun the plot would instead be just filled with sex and Seungho would never realise his feelings for Nakyum since there would be no rival.
Inhun is actually far more interesting of a character than Nakyum (we love him but let's be real, he's vanilla). Inhun is a deeply troubled character suffering from his own mediocrity and low status. The fact that he has to bend over backwards for dirty nobles like Seungho yet unable to change his fate makes him go mad, thus his twisted personality. He latched out at Nakyum in chapter 40 not only because Nakyum refused to help but because Nakyum made him feel inferior to Seungho. By "choosing" Seungho, he gave him a slap in the face by outright showing Inhun that Seungho is more deserving of his loyalty and subservience. Inhun refuses to believe he's not worthy enough and thus chalk it up to Nakyum being a lowly whore.
His character is so complicated, but the author has made him power-hungry which will be his biggest downfall and there's absolutely nothing attractive about him anymore. Oh well.
I think the end of season 1 is about Nakyum making a choice and it appeared he chose to stay with the master

Although it will take him time to start liking SH, he is definitively on his way. But that learned shit will come back for sure! Without mentioning Jinwa killing's plan! Exciting!

...I just don't think we need any more of this plot where the heroine is reincarnated as a princess and we get a first person narration from this "baby" who has to charm the living hell out of her daddy. Can't they be a bit more creative? The whole archmage thing was interesting yet it still feels like an empty story with copied plots. Make the whole "evil tyrannical daddy" properly at least instead of just giving fanservice!
Of course I like the funny shenanigans happening with her as a baby but and after so many chapters it just feels like fillers. And then having her bemoaning what crazy family she has all the time gets old really fast. End of my tirade. plz don't downvote me into oblivion

She died giving birth to her, I think it was mentioned in chapter 20. They said that the second prince resembled their late mother, so it was assumed early on that she had died.

It is because the mother’s death that the King had felt something out of the princess to begin with. He felt sympathy for her because they were the same, “killed their mother”(during childbirth)

Seems like Jihwa is still continuing with drinking in self-pity. His servant wakes him up, seems like they're still trying to spy on Seungho despite his prior warning. According to the servant, Seungho was seen whoring out again, which convinces Jiwha that maybe his friends were right, Seungho hasn't changed, so he decides to clean up and probably go and surprise Seungho (idiot).
Sengho is hunting with his friend who's all curious about who that short haired boy was that he was screwing with in the tailors shop. Ofc Seungho brushes him away and gives him a warning. Nakyum is drawing the sex scenes while bawling his eyes out over what his corona infested teacher said in the last chapter. Seungho enters, grabs his arm and asks "why you crying?" Nakyum politely asks Seungho to let go but loses his shit and screams at him to leave him alone (can't believe it took him that long). Seungho gives him a slap and tells him to double check who he's talking to. Nakyum becomes a mess, and asks that tamed beast to embrace him.
Well guys, we didn't get to see Seungho consoling nakyum as we were hoping. I'm a bit disappointed at Nakyum's request. I was hoping he'd give Seungho the cold shoulder considering he just slapped him hard for no reason. I mean what the hell. But then again I doubt there will be a sex scene in the next chapter, since Jihwa is on his way to crash their house in all his glory. If they try, at least they'll be interrupted. I sense drama next week. The master, his old lover versus the new boy toy.

Similar to everyone here I also ship them but there’s a tiny bit inside me hoping there won’t be romance. Instead His Majesty would accept defeat and they would both have a wonderful faithful relationship where they support and appreciate each other from afar. I really love Paulina, I love her character and I just can’t imagine her in a romantic relationship with anyone. She’s just such a strong warrior and we don’t have such strong characters here in managago so I can’t help but hope a tiny bit that the author will give her a different kind of happy ending that fits her character and disposition the most.
True, the story doesn't end just bcuz the girl got the guy. That's not the main goal nor is it her sole purpose. So there's a small part of me that wants that too. But if that happened I'd probably cry and question the universe about why they can't be together then I'll probably be depressed but happy for her cuz she's my queen but just a tiny bit sad. Feelings are complicated.
Yeah I tho k I'd be happy with either ending tbh. But if there is romance I hope there'll be a justifiable reason, like so it doesn't come out of nowhere or that she doesn't 'suddenly realise she's on love'
I think it would be awesome if she'd be his queen. One who fights by his side, rule by his side-not the typical queen. She deserves it.
I don't think it will end like that. I mean being strong has nothing to do with love, or either loving someone can make you much stronger than you ever think you were. And I think that's what is happening to Pauliana : she was strong before, but now that there is someone who recognise her value trust her (and love her), she's even stronger now. Because she also loves him, not romantically of course in a friendly way, but it may evolve.
She's a woman who had a hard life and couldn't show any weakness or she would be finished. But now that at least someone (and a king!) recognise her, she may relax a little... and slowly fall in love too.
Right now she's entirly closed to love because she doesn't think of herself as attractive and think that no one sees her as a desirable woman and ever will... But I'm sure it will evolve with time.
