I’m not done with it yet but I ship Sauvure and Robert so hard. I know it’s very unlikely they end up together but mh. They do have a really good vibe together. But there’s only one fic about them so maybe it’s a sign to use a bit of my afternoon to write something as well. A slow burn, secret relationship that maybe ends up not so secret sounds fun.

Also this story is great. I’ve had moments where I found it hard to continue, but I’m glad I pushed through because overall it’s really nice. I also love the outfits and the vibes there. It has moments really tragical where I felt my heart sink down to my feet but it ends up well, phew.

Sigh. When she was introduced honestly I feared what would happen with her because she’s gasp not thin. I was pleasantly surprised to see her becoming friends with Leoni and the princess, even studying with them and all, and developing a crush on the prince. I thought her ending with the prince was kind of unlikely cause … well, this kind of story doesn’t go that way. But seriously??
Making her getting manipulated by sherin (or however it’s spelt) and controlled by a necklace, making her alarmingly thin, and just an insecure jealous bitter person? Come on, couldn’t it have stayed wholesome? Why did she have to be antagonized? It’s so annoying! She used to be Leoni and the princess friend so what… they just let her down the both of them? Also the necklace was manipulating her to an extent, and Leoni helped to break her little brother’s but not her friend? The time skips didn’t help this either but this is just so disgusting. “Anyway real friends wouldn’t betray your trust” but were you there to support her when she was in distress? And like, no effort.

I just hate that this is the kind of way her character was dealt with. She was an imperfect looking character so she must have had the bad ending where she became jealous envious and a villain. Holy moly, this story hates women who aren’t model looking. It’s not a first but it’s so disappointing given how it started…

Honestly it wasn't half bad as what people said, but it almost made me stop my reading half way through. I still had an enjoyable moment reading this, Cayenna is strong- it's interesting how the story ends up not taking the road I thought in the first place. I thought this story would keep her relationship with her brother anchored, until it took a turn for the worst. I liked that it was able to surprise me that way if I'm honest, because it made it more unpredictable. Also every time she refused Rafaello I was like urghh why it's clear you like him girl stooop... but it finishes well, even if it could use a few side stories I guess to tie some plot ends. The art is of course beautiful, maybe the story could've used not to have magic in the first place, but then again, it is magical that she got here so...
