I know people would disagree on this but pls be respectful when replying at least. This is just my opinion as I am kept wondering.
Why is everyone so mad about Shahid like dude was worse than Caesar or that Russian blue eyed dude?
Prior to dating yesing, Shahid had multiple partners in bed and doing drugs for years as a way to cope with trauma. Kiyan was shaken during his first time killing someone. Imagine Shahid, who was prob not even a proper adult yet, be forced to kill over and over again, with no proper family to console him after. We dont know the extent of people he had to kill to protect the people he loved, but he is obv broken inside. Despite that, he's still kind and never ruthless to people close to him, rather than turning into a mindless killer.
Morever, even though he had liked yesing then, Shahid never used his authority or past to get his way with him. Instead, he controlled himself and turned to other people. Plus, he thought yesing liked kenny. Despite all that, Shahid never trashtalked kenny so yesing would fall for him instead.
The only time that was too unforgivable was when Shahid was too high on drugs that he couldn't recognize yesing and did things to him thinking it was a normal bed attendant that he usually was with whenever he was not in a lucid situation. Had he been a little bit sober and recognized yesing, he would have definitely stopped. There's fault there, but no intent to do any harm.
When he confessed to yesing and they became a thing, he never even cheated nor made any hint of wanting to cheat. He was attentive and did all he could to gain yesing's trust. Yesing is distrustful as he thought he could never satisfy Shahid due all the bed partners the latter had, and also the fact that he prob havent realized or knew yet just how much deeper Shahid's feelings are for him.
Multiple chapters in and we could see just how strict and serious Shahid gets when it comes to people he truly care about and not wanting to lose. Yes, he'd joke around, but he is always always genuine when the situation so warrants.
As to him being rough during sex, bruh other semes are trashier than him, not even bothering cleaning him up and all yet you never even direct that much hate. There are a lot of "green flag" semes that does the same thing Shahid does (like not stopping when the uke says so, or going for another round w/o permission. Doesnt make it right ofc, but the level of hate is just double standards.)
Shahid isnt a total green forest, but everyone just be forgetting and ignoring his trauma, how he copes with it and the fact that there was never him and yesing in the past NOR did yesing ever showed he liked Shahid. I dont get how anyone would go past all that details and just conclude Shahid is trash. Give the guy a break. He had multi
