Actually did not expect this. Progress for both characters has officially stalled or gone backwards. I hate that JJK is now well-aware of Kim Dan's health condition and still proceeds, aggressively too. I also hate that Kim Dan refuses to get better, and is even disregarding his doctor's advice. ironic for someone in the medical field.
The fact that JJK even urged him to keep going when Kim Dan was passing out rly says to me that he doesn't see him as an actual person yet. And Kim Dan really needs to get it together. Like bro, you're an adult with stable finances, a happy grandma, no one blames you, and hot dude is serving himself up as FWB.

This is the most realistic reaction i've ever seen in my life. Especially the insistence on being fine, and even the guilt of imposing on your friends.
Personally, I don't think the ML is that bad. He's not being pushy for more when he realizes they're on different pages. He just needs to decide how to reconcile his want for Kyuho with his fear of losing him.
WITH THAT SAID, from my understanding, the ML becomes more emotionally volatile and demanding later. Probably important for him to reach that conclusion.

I understand not wanting to out the MC, and letting him come to his own terms, but I do find it uncomfortable the way they went straight to the BF instead. They basically just demanded confirmation of the MC's sexuality by circumventing him. And whatever test the family put the ML through, I feel that the MC has the right to know since he's at the center of it. The MC is a grown man and the conflict centers around his sexuality and him taking this big next step in life(moving out).
While I get that this MC is supposed to be very 'baby' and thats how the ML and the family treat him, this is the first time this story has actually irritated me with how they dealt with him.

THIS. as if these people are "waiting for jy to come out" because they care. if they were, they would have kept their mouths shut and their curiousity away, let jy do what he want to do, and genuinely waited, but they basically already outed him by confronting his boyfriend. They're just treating him like a dumbass who doesnt deserve to have a say. And this whole secret meeting thing with ch, it IS them deciding for jy what is best for him. If they didnt approve of ch, would they have then forced jy to break up and basically outed him anyway?
Either way, the family and ch's decision to go behind jy's back is crossing a huge boundary.

I honestly think both characters are dealing with this in the best way they can while still trying to be reasonable, so I kinda love them even now.
Kyuho confessed because he wanted that chance of a relationship and now he's only dealing it with it in a fairly realistic manner, where you kinda throw yourself back into your og life but still get emotional every now and then.
One thing ppl that hate on the Seme forget is that from the very beginning, we see that Kyuho and Yoongun have very different outlooks on relationships. Kyuho is much more relaxed about them, and expresses that there isnt a need to take them too seriously. On the other hand, Yoongun is very self aware and acknowledges that he takes them almost too seriously. Thus when he separates from a partner, the relationship sours too far to even salvage. The seme is very aware of how much he cherishes Kyuho, and would rather keep him in his life as a platonic friend than not at all. He's not demanding that they maintain a sexual relationship(like jjk in Jinx).
So the main internal conflict that the seme needs to resolve is being willing to go out on a limb when it comes to relationship, whether its being open to potential heartbreak or its trusting that Kyuho wont completely ditch him either way. If he doesnt, I think Kyuho may still stay in his life but will eventually find other romantic/physical partners and Yoongun would have to be ok with that(which based on the raws, he isnt lol).
The ML isnt denying relationships or labels or his feelings. He clearly recognizes them(noting how attached they are), how much he cares for Kyuho, and how these things usually evolve into dating(thats why he finally brought it up in this last chapter). But note the passing bus comment.
His overriding concern is that if they ever break up, their relationship will sour until they're completely cut off from one another. At this point, he'd rather stay platonic than potentially lose Kyuho. BUT what the ML is completely overlooking, is that he could lose Kyuho anyways as friends. Even platonic relationships could go bad, and someone else could come along and become a much bigger part of Kyuho's life.
he does actually not really believe in love or relationships! it gets touched on in a chapter that hasn’t been translated yet, so i won’t elaborate, but he’s genuinely pretty uninterested in the idea of love even if he recognises that things like how they interact are often linked to dating. but yeah, his main concern really is just his prioritising their platonic relationship over the idea of a romantic one!! it really is that like… to him, kyuho being His Person (platonic intended) is the most important thing above all else and that approaching their relationship from any other angle would rock the boat and potentially shatter that, without realising that by drawing this line without looking into it or his feelings any further he’s putting their platonic relationship at further risk. well-put post!
Agreed
